pickThis is a bit of a hard one for me.
It was a pick for me because I still enjoyed the ride, the characters, the lush world, and the new revelations... but at the same time, I do understand why a lot of Stormlight fans struggled with this one. It felt a little heavy handed at times and the ending didn't have the payoff a lot of readers hoped for.
But personally, I still enjoyed every moment.
The first half of this book is an absolute slog, which is crazy because we're like 5,000+ pages into this series. BrandoSando made a strategic error, imo, by committing himself to real-time story-telling. This requires him to set this entire novel over the course of just ten days! Why???
Finally!! I just started Book 5 of the incredible #StormlightArchive series. 💫
These characters have become like friends to me. I can‘t wait to see what epic fates await them. #journeybeforedestination

I finally finished this, and I am just a roller coaster of emotions! Truly devastating and yet filled with joy and hope. This series has always meant a lot to me, not just because of how much I love Sanderson, but also because each book of The Stormlight Archive I have read with my bestie, @DaveGreen7777 !
I've reached page 1100! 🎉🎉🎉 Only 250 pages to go! 📚 This book is destroying me in the best way possible!

What did you read in February?
I thought I was really gonna have to stretch to finish WIND AND TRUTH before the end of the month, but I don‘t wanna turn it off. I keep looking for more excuses to listen. Earlier today I did the collar and facings on my jacket, then finished this puzzle. Tomorrow‘ll probably involve pressing the jacket so it‘s photogenic, then at least the start of another puzzle. At this rate, I should finish the book on Tuesday. #audiopuzzling
I pressed the hell out of my jacket today, then paused to finish this miniature tea shop. That took me to 29% with WIND AND TRUTH, which I‘m loving. It‘s common for epic fantasy to have a POV or two that the reader just doesn‘t care about, but I‘m interested and invested in all these people and have been all along. I‘m excited to keep listening tomorrow. #audiocrafting
I spent a goodly chunk of my Louis Riel Day listening to WIND AND TRUTH while I sewed the bulk of a new jacket to take to Paris. It‘s impossible to tell from the picture, but this tweed is shot through with green and goldenrod. I‘m really happy with it.
I‘m also so glad the book came in for me! At 63 hours, it‘ll be a stretch to get it finished before my month off from American writers, but it‘s doable. #audiosewing
pickI finished Wind and Truth last night and I really had to sit and think it over before I made my review. I loved it because this book felt like coming home. I was so excited to read about some of my favorite characters again. However, it could have been edited a little better. There was a lot happening all at once and it probably could have been trimmed down a lot. But overall, I still really enjoyed this.
You‘re going to get tired of seeing Wind and Truth content from me and I do apologize….sort of. This is the most fun I have had with a book in a minute and because of that I‘m savoring it. I know it‘s going to be a long time before we return to this world. I‘m about 449 pages in and I‘m loving it so far. I can‘t wait to see where the story goes.

I‘m reading Wind and Truth finally. And it‘s not snowing here in Alabama but I‘ve heard there‘s a chance Friday. We will see. We rarely get snow.
pickOof what and ending/new beginning for Stormlight Archive. I cannot say much as pretty much everything is a spoiler. This is my favorite series of all time, I love the characters and though not perfect, I am overall satisfied with this book. 4.5⭐️
