How much do I love Tom Gauld? Sooooooooo much! ❤️🧡❤️

As far as currently working cartoonists with literary themes, Gauld is my favorite. Baking with Kafka has long been a treasured volume & although I have previously read several of the pieces collected here, it is fantastic to have a new collection. I checked this one out and will absolutely be buying a copy for my personal library. Gauld gets all of the quirks in a reader's life like few other illustrators manage.

A fun collection of literary comics about bibliophiles, classic novels, writing life and covid rules as applied to literary characters. I chuckled at several and related hard to some. Very fun afternoon.

Tom Gauld has spoken. I'm thrilled that there's a new collection of his literary cartoons being released in a couple of months. Also, considering the shit that librarians have had to put up with for far too long, this is a fantastic title!!
