pickI took a break from my Hollows reread over the holidays. Picked up book 9 because I wasn‘t quite ready to start on February reads yet and figured I wouldn‘t finish another title before the 1st.
I couldn‘t put this down! I forgot so much. I forgot how fast paced this one is. I forgot the joys of putting Rachel, Ivy & Jenks in a car with Trent to drive across the country. So much tension! I forgot how much character growth happens in this one… ⬇️

1. There were a couple of options I considered, but I can't resist my favorite witch/demon.
2. I'm a bit of a foodie, so I have to say Owen Wedgwood from Cinnamon and Gunpowder.
3. Space. I've always thought going back in time would probably be less than pleasant as a woman. 🤷♀️
pickRachel‘s back, and this time she is road tripping with Trent, Ivy, and Jenks. Yes, you read that right, Trent. True to The Hollows series nature, Pale Demon is filled with magic slinging action and narrow escapes. There is no lack of conflict and tension within these pages. And don‘t forget Jenks‘ famous one lines and snide remarks. I love this series! #urbanfantasy

For this challenge I am choosing the fight from The Hollows with Ku'Sox Sha-Ku'ru.
He is a psychopathic, genetically engineered demon, released from his prison by Trent. He then runs around terrorising the area and eating people in the shape of a giant bird.
Rachel, Al, and Trent have to work together and trust each other in order to defeat Ku'Sox, and we get to learn a little background about my fave character Al. 💕
@Liberty there is my book that I enjoyed the ending. #booktag The whole book hooked me and I will continue to read from this author and series.
