“The eyes belonged to a snowy owl, who also had a request.“
I would use this book in my classroom as an early year book to read to the class to show that you can make friends without anyone unexpectedly and be as inviting as you can to others.

Cozy by Jan Brett is an amazing tory about a calf who lost her family and felt lonely in the cold, winter land. As she embarks her journey across the snow mountains, she invites new, unexpected animal friends to join her. Through this journey she made delightful connections and friendships.
“His mother and father had named him Cozy because his silly coat was so soft and thick.”
This book would be beneficial to younger children who are having trouble getting along with their peers and playing nicely with them. This book could teach them how to interact with others.
Cozy by Jan Brett was published in 2020. It was awarded the Massachusetts Book Award and the Best Children‘s Book of the Year. This story follows a musk ox named Cozy who loses his herd. On his journey, he encounters many different animals who are in need of warmth. Cozy lets them under his coat, but they must follow his house rules. This book teaches how to get along with others and make new friends.

Because our back room, which used to be a back porch, is a little funky in doorway/window placement, it's kind of turned into a glorified hallway. Husband and I really wanted it to be a place where we actually hang out, so yesterday we went to our awesome used furniture store in town and immediately found exactly what we wanted - a round chair that could be in a corner-ish space, and a bench (this one actually is a futon and folds flat!) that is ⬇
@AmyK1 It looks like your #Jolabokaflodswap is arriving today, so fast! Just a heads up so that you don't open it. :)

I couldn't find the book I wanted to send in stores here in Florida, so I used the evil Amazon. Sorry 😬 but my #jolabokaflodswap should get to my swap buddy in plenty of time. 😊 Can't wait for this night of cozy!!

Made this last year to capture some cozy, autumnal vibes. Posting it again, unaltered, along with the exact same caption. Work smarter, not harder. 😅
“Give me water, & flowers, & soft, fuzzy things (especially bunnies); taupes, & greens, & blues, & lavender; glowing lights, seashells, worn wood, & flannels. Give me coffee or give me death. ☕️🖤💀 “
I just want to curl up, warm up, & zonk out. Preferably by the seaside with a fire in the hearth.
❄️I‘m grateful for my husband and son, and that I‘m relatively healthy.
❄️Musk ox shelters cold critters in Alaskan winter. Super sweet children‘s book for winter.
