Porthmadog : yesterday's tide | 
A bit late today as been at the hospital for a CT scan this evening. Today we have moved onto Criccieth and Porthmadog. Porthmadog is where they filmed the original Prisoner series starring Patrick McGoohan (number 6).
How has today been fir you. I‘ve been in a foul mood all day, quiet possibly the prospect of having to go to the hospital for the test and the ongoing issues about schools reopening.

BookwormM Hoping all is well with your scan 🤗 stressful day today had an incident at a roundabout we were in the left hand land going straight across the car in the right hand lane nearly hit us as he was going straight across and then shouted abuse that we were in the wrong lane had to double check Highway Code in case rules had changed since I last looked and nope left hand is still the lane for straight across. Rant over 🤣🤣 4y
Birdsong28 Love Porthmadog! It is such a wonderful place. Have a few good holidays there. And I even looked round at the set for the prisoner ( never watched it tho) It is currently on ITV on a show called The Village. Sending you lots of postive thoughts as well. 📚 📖 4y

Velvetfur @BookwormM Ooohh I PROPER hate people like that! Imbeciles who don't know how to drive then get nasty with people who actually drive correctly - so moronic! They're the type who'd shout stuff like "that's not the right lane!" and then NEVER check whether they're right, just believe that they are. This is why I myself won't ever drive! Hugs to you ? 4y

kezzlou85 Hope the scan went okay today. Been a bit of a rough one here but we got through it. Eldest was stressing about maths work. This school stuff is making everyone crazy and yet it still seems to be going okay. 4y
Andrew65 @kezzlou85 As I say to our parents, try not to stress about the work. Do want you can or feels right and don‘t worry about learning progress. We will pick that up when the children return to school and close any gals that open up, it‘s what we‘re good at! And thanks 🥰 (edited) 4y
kezzlou85 Thanks for that. Its more the pressure my daughter puts on herself. Took her three hours to do one part today but she feels she has to do more despite the teacher saying no more than 3 hours. 4y

TrishB Hope all goes well with the scan. School fight still brewing I see. I can‘t even bear to look at govt. pronouncements at the moment ☹️ just a day of mtgs again. My daughter finished her last assessed work for her first year of uni! We had a couple of glasses of wine which is not quite how she saw her night out..... 4y
CocoReads Rainy, windy, and not as warm but still warm enough, if that makes sense. Busy at work—the nonsense continues re: furloughs. It seems like they‘re trying to force the senior staff out, either by furlough or moving them from the department they‘ve been in to one they‘ve never been in (I have a specific nurse in mind) but overall an ok day. 4y

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick Andrew, I hope you get good results from the scan. 🤞 The workday was noneventful, just like most of the others lately, which is more welcome than a bad day. Some good news...I'm an auntie again! My guy's sister had a healthy baby girl this morning. About 3 weeks early, but mom & baby are well. She was really hoping for a girl so I'm glad she got the surprise she wanted. I'll be glad when I can meet her in person. 4y

tracey38 I'm sorry you're going through all of that and had a rough day @Andrew65 . Prayers and good thoughts for good news on your scans. I know those are never fun. Day wasn't too bad here but really wish I wasn't at work and could nap as it's such a dark and rainy week this week! Tomorrow will be a bit rough as my coworker is off and I'll be in the clinic running most of it myself. 4y

gradcat @Andrew65 I loved “The Prisoner!” It was excellent...we (my friends & I from when I lived in Los Angeles) kind of got cultish about it over here, but much later than when it originally ran. By the way, when will you find out about your CT? Good lord, Andrew, I think you‘ve been having these problems for going on a year, am I right?
