I am going to answer question #2 first and tell you what prompted these questions. In the tag book, one of the characters states there should have been a "Wife 101" instead of Algebra in high school because he never used Algebra but sure need the other. Funny dialog, but it got me to thinking. Everyone should know how to make a budget, balance a checkbook

This is the first book in the Ashes & Embers series. I started in the middle of the series so it is actually the 3rd book I read. I liked this one too but it is not my favorite. I was not totally liking Evelyn. I don't want to include any spoilers but if you read this one you will understand. 3.5ish ⭐️

Rockstar Romamce

Overall this is a okay book. However the judgy attitude of Evie got old after awhile. And the fact that for the entire book she finds herself still with her old boyfriend of 12 years while falling in love with Storm was annoying. And yet there was something there with Storm that kept me engaged.

This was a great rockstar romance - deeper than you would think and it really gripped me emotionally. Okay, the book cover didn‘t hurt either. Read my full review at https://www.theupstairslibrary.com/book-reviews

There are not enough words to tell how much Storm won my heart. He is kind sweet romantic. Never gives up on what he wants. I want him to be my husband!!!
