Let the weekend begin.
So far enjoying this one, although I didn't really pay attention to the blurb on the back when I picked it off my shelf, probably not the best selection for current times, but hey, I'm in it now.

pickThis book is a trip. Really well-written dystopian set in the Northern California wilderness in a not-so-distant future. Some unlikely stuff happens, and some seriously weird stuff happens, and this book needs pretty much all the trigger warnings. But it‘s so good!

I just finished the tagged book... I was just going to read for a bit, and now it‘s 1 am and I‘m going to need some time to process (and sleep) before I can review it. This book is a trip.
It was my last book for #ReadingWomenChallenge, so I have finished my first challenge for the year. 🙌🏻
Will it be worth how exhausted/worthless I‘m going to be at work tomorrow? Who‘s to say!
I have no compassion for my own poor nerves. 🤪

I loved this book!
pickThis books tells the story of two sisters, Nell and Eva, who were forced to embark on an initiatory journey into a world in pieces.
I was puzzled by a few passages, but I came to understand their usefulness.
I really enjoyed it.

pickThis book was amazing. Very raw and honest look at the breakdown of society, familial loss, and the bond between sisters even as the world ends.
You guys. This was written in 1996. "People...were seething with frustration, rage, and despair. Schoolchildren were shooting each other at recess. Grown-ups were opening fire on strangers in fast-food restaurants. But all those things had been happening for so long they seemed almost normal, and as things got darker and more uncertain, people began to grasp at new explanations for what was going wrong."
Up next. I started this a couple months ago but had to return it to the library. I highly recommend the movie--Evan Rachel Wood and Ellen Page are both incredible in it.

pickI really enjoyed this book. I read it a year ago, and I'm still thinking about how far from the nature I live. And how much food I really have at home when I say I have nothing to eat. I have a big problem with it though, but that is a spoiler, so I'll write about it in the comments.
