Spring has bloomed in PA!!

Don‘t you hate when you‘re reading a book and the author has the names of the characters mixed up in the middle of a scene? That‘s happened twice in 6 pages 😑

Ah, family! What is more special and important and all-encompassing? I love reading about families and Nancy Thayer (once again) has done an outstanding job at creating a family that pulls you in right from the beginning and has you begging to read more about them. The characters are so engaging and have such realistic issues and events, good and bad, that you feel connected to them and can relate. Highly recommended!

As per usual with this author, this was just okay for me. I never really felt invested with any of the characters and several were downright annoying. I may have to cross her off my auto-read list.

An enjoyable read. It went a little deeper than I expected but all in all satisfying.

My day today. Did some planting now that spring has most definitely sprung. Watching the Warriors game Ina little while and reading my book.

Really rough afternoon here. I found out a friend passed away after a nearly 1 year fight against brain cancer. She was 2 weeks away from turning 47. So tragic and so unfair. I‘m hoping to just snuggle with my puppies and get lost in a book tonight. My heart is broken for her sister as I know too well the heartbreak she‘s going through. Life is short people, love it and love your people 💔

Now for something much lighter than my last read.

Time to start a new book.
