Such a charming story told by a wonderful storyteller. Really enjoyed this cast of misfit characters and the life circumstances that brought them all together. If you enjoyed Little Miss Sunshine, this is a good book for you!
This was a nice story to listen to while switching off from a very focused work project. I could leave the work behind and follow along with the messy-but-ultimately-redemptive experiences of a very likeable cast of characters. And wouldn‘t you know it, love wins in the end! 🥰
I checked this audio book out of the library on a whim the last time I needed another "commute book." I enjoyed listening to One Plus One, found myself looking forward to getting back in the car to find out what happened next. I'll be looking to read and/or listen to more of her book soon :)
Wonderful donation for a great cause!
A fast/easy read. As “Me Before You” did, this one looks at class differences, but it‘s not as sad. There‘s also the struggles of being a single mom here. I enjoyed following the escapades of Jess and her kids and her relationship with the guy who takes a road trip with them. It took me way too long to realize the title is a pun on the fact that they‘re on the way to a math competition, etc 🤦♀️!
Starting this one while I wait during son‘s piano lesson. Need a palate cleanser before I get back to A Little Life!
My library haul from this afternoon. 💗📚
🛫- Before the Fall: good crime mystery pageturner but DON'T read on plane!
🚂- The Little Engine that Could: Childhood favorite & a classic!! 🤗
🚗- One Plus One: A fun & charming Moyes novel (NON tear jerker!🙆) about a road trip with 3 very unlikely passengers, all of them endearing & loving characters that are forced to help one another out in order to get to their final destination.💕
