I know this is a small thing. But all dragon rider one books were permabound with the slick cover. Book 2 just came out and is the standard book with dust jacket. I know it's what inside that counts but...
I got home and this lovely ARC was waiting for me. Once I read and review it will go on to my grandson. Love book mail!📖❤

I got me a new DragonRider to reread and the newly released sequel Griffin's Feather. Wheeee!
And I thought the cover illustration looked familiar, so I consulted the shelves, and it is in fact the same woman, Laura Ellen Anderson, who did the recent UK paperbacks of Terry Pratchett's Tiffany Aching series.
Gorgeous! If I do say so myself.
Sequel to Cornelia Funke's Dragonrider comes out in the UK this week! I made note of this almost a year ago when one of our German Littens posted the German edition and have been waiting. And waiting. I don't see any US release online yet, so ordered from the UK...because obviously patience is not in my DNA. Wheeee!
p.s. This is her younger, middle grade series. But...DRAGONS!
