Hello, everyone! Its been way too long since I have posted anything. Life got in the way too many times this past year. So, have less than half of my tbr pile to let you know that I am still alive! I will do my best to use Litsy more often since life is not so depressing now.

My latest book haul from San Diego Comic Con 2017! I have so much reading to do now.... My tbr pile will never stop growing. I got very lucky and had a copy of Changeless signed by the wonderful Gail Carriger! I was so glad I got to meet her. She was really nice. Plus, I met Seanan McGuire and told her how I liked her Wayward Children series at one of her signings. Then, I met John Allison the writer for Giant Days. Everyone I met was so nice! :D

And here is my #TBR pile for the summer. At least I will try to read them all. I doubt it though. XD

I have no idea which one to start reading first. It is always tough for me to pick one of the books I have hoarded for the past couple of months.

Been busy for the past couple of months; however, I have managed to get some reading in. These are the books I have completed since the beginning of this year. The ones that are blocked by a part of the shelf is Feet of Clay by Terry Pratchett and Alcatraz vs. The Evil Librarians by Brandon Sanderson. My favorites from this picture have to be Norse Mythology and Equal Rites.

Got my copy of Strange the Dreamer! Been waiting for this one the entire month. I keep putting off reading Laini Taylor's other trilogy. So, I decided to start with her latest novel. In addition, there should still be some signed copies left at @MystGalaxyBooks

Just got this one early at my local Barnes & Noble! Wondering how different it is compared to The Last Unicorn. Either way it should be good.

Definitely a book to pick up if you like either Neil Gaiman or Norse mythology. Or both!

My copy of Norse Mythology just showed up in the mail today! This will be an interesting read since I have only heard about some of the Norse myths from friends and family. And it is by my favorite author!

After dealing with hectic finals and the holiday season, finally back to reading again! I got this one as a gift for Christmas. I have only heard of this book once. So, pretty interested to see what this is about.

I have a lot books to read now. Why do I do this to myself? I should really slow down on buying books. Excited to read more of the Discworld novels, though!

For #NonfictionNovember I am reading Plutopia and Stasiland. It kind of helps that I am reading them for one of my classes, but they are actually interesting!

Went to my local bookstore @MystGalaxyBooks and picked up another one of the Discworld novels that was recommended to me. Also, I picked up Perdido Street Station by China Mieville and A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin since I have never read any of these author's works before.

Finally starting my #AllHallowsRead selections. Looking forward to reading both of them!

Just added this book to my TBR pile. Probably going to start reading it now while I still have some free time on my hands.

This was a nice novel. A good introduction to masked hero stories. The reveal comes a bit too slow since the reader has already figured out who is the scarlet pimpernel. But, it is cool that it was set during the French Revolution. 4/5.

As a whole, this series was fantastic. It had a ton of touching moments and a lot of character development for tons of the characters. Although it had some slow parts to the story, it gives the characters time to grow into their own. This series gets a 5/5.

More books added to my to read pile today. Since I enjoyed Soulless, one of my friends is letting me borrow the next two novels in the Parasol Protectorate series. I really enjoyed the humor and characters in the last book. So, I hope the next two have the same feel as the first one.

The next two novels I am reading: Girl Waits with Gun and Uprooted. I have been meaning to read Uprooted ever since I bought it a couple months ago, but I kept putting it off for some unknown reason.

Really curious to see if I will like Girl Waits with Gun. Never really gave historical fiction or crime novels a chance before. So, I am hoping I enjoy it.

Just finished this novel tonight. It was great! It is about a woman who just inherited the throne of the Tearling. The main heroine definitely likes to think before she acts. The author doesn't focus that much on romance which is a great change of pace. Definitely a must read if you enjoy smart heroines, occasional action, and a neo-feudal society set in the future. 5/5

One of the first Neil Gaiman novels that I read after I finished reading The Sandman series. Definitely a great place to start if you want to get into his works. It reminds me that I have a whole pile of his books that I still need to read...

First time reading one of Patricia McKillip's novels and this did not disappoint. Despite the time this novel was written, the characters hold up pretty well. Including the main character who is constantly challenged by the politics around her. The novel had wonderful prose as well. Definitely a must read if you wish to experience a different writing style. 5/5.

Can't decide what to read next. Especially picking a book to read for #AllHallowsRead

Contemporary fantasy has never been my thing. But, this one was ok. Definitely an interesting pick if you want more of a focus on character building and romantic relationships. 3/5.

One of my favorite classics. Read it several times. Definitely a good place to start of you want to jump into the Jane Austen fan club. 5/5.

Definitely a good novel if you want to get into steampunk. Plus, a good starting point if you want to try reading any of Jim Butcher's novels. Just a great novel in general with strong writing and characters. This receives a 5/5.
