As more storylines were introduced to the story, I found it harder to know who was telling each one and she lost me a little. I also found the blurriness between realities/ timelines confusing.

pickI don't know what I think about this book. It would be a great book club book and prompt a lot of discussion as to what it was about and whether it was about anything or just navel gazing.
It switches perspectives and time periods and storylines and realities so that you are never quite sure where you are. And then it ends.

Last weekend, reading in the garden - the Dutch translation of Faces in the Crowd. Strangely intriguing book; it has a surrealistic feel, which is a perfect match to a sunny afternoon in a lush green garden. 🌳🌻☀️
so-soJust finished this for the @bookriot #readharderchallenge for the book set in Central/South America written by an author from Central /South America. It was very well-written, definitely out of my comfort zone. There were some great shining moments, but I struggled to connect again. I gave it 3 out of 5 stars. I'm really not sure how to feel about this one...
