“What do you want your name to be this time? We have about thirty minutes.”
I stare at the muted television. The only light in the room comes from the flashing images on the small screen, one of those old Meg Ryan movies that‘s on all the time.

She's been six different people in six different places: Madeline in Ohio, Isabelle in Missouri, Olivia in Kentucky . . . But now that she's been transplanted to rural Louisiana, she has decided that this fake identity will be her last. Witness Protection has taken nearly everything from her.

It's a great read in my opinion. There's just certain points in the book where it get a little hard to understand what's going on and it takes some time to put the peices together but over all a great read.

This book was AMAZING!The character development was incredibly readable, and followable with out being blatantly obvious. The plot had twists around every corner, and was so unpredictable but not unreasonable/unrealistic.It had such a new take on the idea of the witness protection program, and brought a whole new light to major ideas in our society today like relationships where secrets not only are kept, but are kept for a reason. Best book ever!

The book was good. In this book Megan got her hair died and it was a horrible colour. Megan has been begging her father to answer one question. “ what on earth did he do, or see with all of the suits.” If you like books that have action I would recommend this book. I think the author felt sad or stressed at the time because the book is about disappearing.

MissYaremcio Great review Kattie! I love how you have summarized the book up to where you have read! You described the tone well, but forgot to tell me that it was the tone! Thanks for your hard work! 5y

So, #Readathon day plans have had to change. Riley, the best cat in all the world, is so very sick. Skipping book club and probably most of the social aspects to snuggle with him before we let him cross the Rainbow Bridge tonight. He's always been a bookish cat, so we'll cuddle and read and love until it's time to go. Thank you all so much for all the love and support.

My bag would have to be some Mary Poppins carpet bag magic to hold all the books, coffee mugs and notebooks I'd want to haul around!
