We Could Be So Good | Cat Sebastian
post image
Pickpick

I am still floored by how well Sebastian captures the period in this book. Nick and Andy are so deep and realistic, and their surroundings are given the same care and thought. Plus they're both a couple of big dummies who are head over heels for each other!!! God I love them. #reread #historicalromance

This book always feels like magic. The sentences are so gorgeous and evocative, and Jude and Noah have my whole heart. Love the dual timelines, love the lessons, love it all. #reread #yalit

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I love how this book straddles the line between women's fiction and romance. The friendships are so well drawn and just as vital as Harriet and Wyn's relationship, and I simply want to live in an Emily Henry setting. #reread #contemporaryromance #womensfiction

Lucian's mindset remains hilarious to me. From "I hate her" to "We're going to get married" in nothing flat. ? Swooniest of all swoons and great wrap-ups for all! #reread #romcom #contemporaryromance

Late update 2 of 2. Not my favorite of the series, but only because I love the other two more - it's still sexy and solid and hilarious. And the action in this one is probably the best of the bunch! #reread #romcom #contemporaryromance

Late update 1 of 2. GOD I love how well this book introduces Knockemout. Perfect tension between Knox and Naomi, and all the side plots with their friends and relatives are gold. #reread #romcom #contemporaryromance

4/5⭐️ #reread this for one of my #bookclub meetings and really quite enjoyed it. Really liked how the author dealt with grief in the second part of the book, how the four remaining people dealt with their grief. #2024 #historicalfiction #fiction #bookreview #shakespeare

The Silmarillion | J.R.R. Tolkien

I‘ve appreciated the world building of this book every time I‘ve read it, but after multiple rereads I can simply enjoy reading it as well. There are epic stories with amazing characters. Yet, it only shows a small part of the world Tolkien created, and now reading it makes me want to reread books with other versions as well. This time I switched throughout between print, ebook, & audio versions.

Daisey How‘s everyone else doing on getting through the book? 3w
JazzFeathers That's very true. Every new reread is a new experience, and every time we read it, we become more familiar vit the story and can start to see beyond the complex plot. It's an amazing book. 2w

I'm just saying that I think Elinor deserves a drink, a hug, and ten million dollars in cash. (Or would that be pounds?) #reread #classics
