“Another day. Get up and face it.”
Maximum Ride is one of my favorite series. I would recommend this to anyone. I think students will become really interested in the series.
1.) My new niece that was born 12/27/2018
2.) I am hoping to read 100 but will be fine if I get 50 read.
3.) Best: I did not need surgery first year in 10 years Worst: My adoption for a little girl fell through.
4.) Just to try to be more patient with the public.
5.) The Angel Experiment By James Patterson
Yes omg yes I love this series I don‘t own it and now I own the first one thank you @Amabear and the owl stuff 😍😍😍😍😍 heck everything 😍😍😁😁😍😍#BlindDateBookSwap and thank you again @TheReadingMermaid for another awesome swap
Read this quite a few years ago, in middle school i think. And now re-reading it i remember why i loved it so much back then. The writing isn't that great, it's written exactly how the characters talk, but I still love the story and the chapters are so short, it's easy to get carried away.
I finished this book a little while ago and took it back to the library, just forgot to add that I finished it. I don't know. I thought it sounded real cool, but as I was reading it I just couldn't get into it. Maybe because it was meant for a younger crowd, that's why I couldn't? I mean it wasn't bad, but it was certainly a struggle to hold my attention.
I used my library card as a bookmark because it was handy. My two year old somehow reached my book while it was on top of the fireplace and lost my place. Good thing I remembered where I was. Lol
Has anyone else read this book? What did y'all think about it? I've never read James Patterson before and I'm really trying to branch out in my reading this year.
Two great giveaways!! :-) I always enter them, but I never win. Doesn't stop me from trying though!
Read It Forward:
Ughhh this series took so much out of me. I had to stop after the third book on the series as it just bugged the heck out of me. This book was written like events just happening strung along with a mediocre plot line. I honestly don't understand why this is so beloved by some.
I got this book at the Science Museum when I was ten, and thus began a long fascination with genetics (see: current love for Orphan Black). An excellent bit of thriller YA! It's not going to win the Booker, but that's not what it's for ❤️
Honestly I loved it more than I thought I would. Especially Max, with her badass personality and total feminist attitude. The other characters are wonderful too, with scary-but-sweet Angel and Iggy. I love Iggy. Patterson writes him as blind, but without the condescending crap. Iggy is wonderful, talented, and funny. Like Toph from Avatar! Anyway, no matter who you are, this is a book for you!
