I‘m not sure how many of your have read God is Not Great by Christopher Hitchens and God is Not One by Stephen Prothero, but I was thinking these would make great conversations for our group (we tend to go in these directions occasionally anyway). Determined by Robert Saplosky about free will is also out now. We talked about reading that when it came out.

Some unique things but was hard to understand can't fully comprehend yet

Still under the weather (but starting some new drugs today) which probably isn‘t helping my emotional state which is currently very sad. I lost my Max last year on this date & I can‘t believe it‘s been a whole year without him. I still miss him every day. Giving him a shoutout on Litsy today since he had lots of friends here.

Here‘s my review for a book I just DNF‘d. This is a physical book and I will be donating it. I also have his other book called The Be Happy Attitudes on my shelf that I haven‘t read and I‘ll be donating that one without reading it. Besides, I need the space on my shelf.

I so appreciate Tozer and his understanding and insight into God's character through His word. The whole book is a good read, but I keep it nearby to read and reread because of all it's practical applications.

Here‘s my progress for this book I‘m currently reading. I‘ve decided that I‘m going to DNF this book. I like that it‘s encouraging but I don‘t like the writing style. It has testimonies of people who have gone through difficult times in life and then after that, he shares tips for getting through difficult times in life and as a result of that, the chapters are really long. This book is not a page turner. It‘s kind of boring.

I started this book. It‘s good so far. It‘s very encouraging.
