I have gotten far but i think i am in a weird reading slump💔
Really enjoyed this one more than expected. Definitely has a Dexter vibe. It's also short and fast paced.
Worst book of my experience as a reader. Years ago I worked at an indie bookstore and received this as an ARC. I don‘t remember the plot anymore, but to this day I remember the HORROR I felt reading this book and how it demonized the girls‘ choices. I enjoy some Christian (and other religion‘s) novels, but first and foremost I‘m a feminist. And this book was anything but.
While out shopping for some #swaps at a local coffee and gift store I came across a new Hammond's flavor to try. It has all things I love - cola, milk chocolate AND pop rocks. Later, on if it lives up to expectations.
And, FINALLY, this book is getting me over the #bookhangover I was stuck in.
Maybe my third pick is the charm. I just can't decide what to read next. I'm having a bit of a #bookhangover. Not even a palate cleansing cozy could knock me out of it.
Or, I could just go back to some #audiocrocheting.
This novel disappointed me. With it's subject a bit of taboo (student-teacher affair), I felt it needed more. The affair didn't seem to last too long and I felt like it was rushed by the author. It is a very quick read however, so maybe that is why I felt this way. If you read it, let me know your thoughts.
