I‘ve been on Litsy for 5 years and this is my Litfluence. I love it here. I can‘t believe it‘s only been 5 years. For some reason, I thought I had been on here longer than that. I‘m glad Litsy reminds me when my anniversary is for being on here because I‘m not going to remember it but maybe I should start writing it down.

Happy anniversary to me! Today is my 5 year anniversary of being on Litsy. I love it here. I‘ve been on here for 5 years and I never participated in any Litsy Events until this year. My first Litsy event I participated in was #scarathlon and my second one that I‘m participating in this month is the #wintergames.

Today in honor of my seven (🤯) year Litsy anniversary, I am announcing a year long readathon / challenge I will be hosting in 2024. In the seven years I have been on this app I have collected over 60 books from littens either through book swaps or various giveaways and would like to create a challenge with the focus to get through the physical TBR in 2024. My Android phone updated, and I got a warning that @litsy is an older app and might not work right. Litsy isn't in the Google App store anymore, and hasn't been for a while. Does anybody know what's up?

I know I saw this going around a few months ago, but does anyone know why the #Litsy app is no longer available in the #android #play store? I'm also not on Facebook, so I can't see if anything has been said on there, and I can't find anything on the LibraryThing website, either.

Anyone having trouble with the iPhone litsy app? This is a screenshot of what comes up when I log in = blankness! As though I've never followed anyone or posted anything 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm posting rn from my iPad app, so it doesn't seem to be an apple problem...

Litsy is the best social media community for me and I'm so glad I joined nearly 7 years ago.

In those years I've made many friends, discovered that there is no limit to the size of a TBR pile and that I like genres I thought I'd never read; still not a fan of biographies and poetry though. 😁

It seems that images are back! I'm (@bibliotekate) seeing most images restored on my feed on the iOS app. Let us know if you're also seeing images or if the issue continues for you.

Hi All! An update on Litsy images: As you‘ve no doubt noticed, the app still has no images. We are so sorry for the interruption. Our developers are working hard to fix the issue. Amazon Web Services hasn‘t yet given us a timeframe for the recovery of images, but we're making progress. If you want to see images in your feed now, they have been restored on Litsy web:https://www.litsy.com/web/home.

Anyone having issues with images loading on Litsy since yesterday? I‘ve been able to see posts but not the accompanying images / User pics. 😒 I have tried on the app and the web version.

Hi there! I‘m new to Litsy and trying to import my GoodReads catalog. But when I do that Litsy says importing, but no progress even after waiting over an hour. Is that function down? Any assistance is greatly appreciated, my apologies if this isn‘t the correct place to be asking this.

Does anyone know who runs Litsy? Are they doing good with server costs and stuff? Do they ever need to do fundraising, or do they have a Venmo where you can buy them a cup of coffee or something?

Just wanted Littens to know that we heard about and fixed a bug with signing into Litsy via the web.

The bug lasted from yesterday afternoon until just now, and also affected some other user-related functions, like viewing user pages on the web. The apps were unaffected.

I used to read one book at a time, now I have an Audiobook of 'Eternal', a mystery ' The Girl and the Deadly Express ' physical book, and finally a history book, 'Hitler's Aristocrats' on my Kindle. All going at the same time. Audiobook for when I am housecleaning or in the truck. Physical book for during the day and my Kindle for at night in bed.😂

Got any novel suggestions? Preferably over 250 pages!!
