A lost woman, an estate in shambles, a diary, and the South of France. Who doesn't love all of these things...especially a diary.
An incredible read for me. I became engaged with the characters and the setting.
Ms. Madeleine has a smooth, beautiful writing style that pulled me in and kept me intrigued with the story line.

This book was actually confusing, not at all a favorite, and one I was not anxious to get back to.

A house at the beach that her mother grew up in?
Keaton never knew about the house and never knew her grandparents.
What a great way to spend the summer cleaning and fixing up a house that has been left vacant since 1970.
A lovely, heartwarming read with great characters, wonderful descriptive writing, a mystery to solve, and Kristy‘s signature pull-you-in storytelling.
A sweet. marvelous read to start your summer. 5/5

pick1890 - We meet Annie who was sent to San Quentin on a false claim of grand larceny.
1972 - We meet Judy who takes on the task of finding herself and also finding out about Annie‘s life.
A marvelous read you won‘t be able to put down because of the characters, their stories, and especially if you are a fan of historical fiction and Ms. Jaeger‘s books. 5/5

He didn‘t seem upset, and we had a brief, cordial chat.
A few minutes after Jamie left the party, a gunshot is heard, and then a blaring horn.
THE LAST TIME SHE SAW HIM was told by Kiki, Jamie‘s ex-girlfriend, and was a bit slow, but a good mystery with a few surprises.

How could that be - he left and has passed away.
Computer geeks and mystery fans will enjoy this book even though it‘s a bit frightening what can be found and hacked.
Lots of secrets, illegal transactions, shady characters, and a few unrealistic but good things that do happen.
This was my first book by this author, and I truly enjoyed it. 4/5

Today‘s Prompt: HAUNTED
“Haunted,” hunted, completed.
The Bakersville Burier definitely gave Evelyn Baine, an FBI profiler, a run for the money.
HUNTED kept me awake reading to find out what happened and also kept me awake with every light on because of the fright factor.
