Today‘s book mail ~ I must admit I neglected to consider how small the print would be on Anne & Emma. Lesson learned…I hope. 🔎

#LitsyLove headed to @TheLudicReader & @jdiehr
I enjoy reaching out to new friends.

1) one of the librarians overseeing the teen room at the tagged library has always been kind & welcoming to my hard to get to know son … warms this mama‘s heart 💗 2) bookstore or Amazon 3) The British Booksellers by Kristy Cambron Thanks for the tag @Eggs Wanna play @TheLudicReader @Mrs_B @Mjm1 @thebackyardgnome
My 17 year old son purchased this pour over for me from Etsy. It matches perfectly to the mug that my daughter bought me several years ago. @TheBookHippie I‘m going to need guidance! ☕️
a few more #LitsyLove mail 💌 headed to the mailbox for @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @Eggs & @Crazeedi Seems my design style is predictable…
I may need to make this book an annual read. I almost feel as if I need a therapist to help me practice what I‘m learning. I‘m definitely more aware and that‘s a good place to start. 🪷
Thanks to bookwormbecky1969 on Instagram, I was able to choose 4 books using the gift card I won from her. I recently purchased book 3 in The Bleeker Street Inquiry Agency series so I needed 1 & 2. Anne of Green Gables & Emma are for upcoming book club reads with #whatthedickensbookclub 📚
Writing requires me to slow down & is soothing. #LitsyLove headed to @TheBookHippie @Sleepswithbooks @lil1inblue & @Kappadeemom I was even able to mark a couple of spots on my #LitsyLoveBingo card for May. Many thanks for keeping our correspondence organized & fun ~ @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @Read4life & @TieDyeDude
This charming story explored fashion, food, and true friendship. Paris in the 1950‘s is the idyllic place for three friends to launch their new lives after attending a cookery school that was intended to prepare them for marriage.
Claire, Gina, & Margot are soon living contrasting lives around the world while trying to keep in touch. They get back together by choice and chance.
I loved reading the fascinating names for groups of animals like a fever of sting rays. This is a great introduction about animals that don't belong to a group by nature. The artwork is bright and fun.
#LitsyLove 💌 for #LitsyLoveBingo to @JamieArc I‘d love to advocate for different postcard stamps in Michigan, though. I‘m already bored with the sailboat ⛵️ ones.

Chapter 1 Page 5 ~ exactly the reason I want to read this book.
#SundayFunday My daughter & I had this same conversation via text yesterday. She bought a copy of the tagged book for 25 cents. I have 4 copies of this book. While living in Japan in 1990, my husband was sent to the Gulf War. The neighborhood women, where I taught English to 5 Japanese pre-schoolers, made these 1000 paper cranes while praying for my husband. It is my most prized possession & my daughter knows it will be passed on to her. 🗾
A couple of #LitsyLove replies are headed out tomorrow. 💌
#5JoysFriday dinner with Chaplain Sallie ~ 2 NetGalley ARCs~ wildfloers in my yard~ new rug on the loom~4 new tires (this made possible by some foreign object in the road at 5:30am on Sunday on my way to work and 2 1/2 hours waiting for a tow)
@DebinHawaii Thank you for the opportunity to find joy.
I‘m pretty excited about my first book of 2024 from NetGalley. I haven‘t requested a book in several years. Thanks for the Litsy encouragement! 💚
I didn‘t know about this until today. Tagged location is where I hope to go. www.indiebound.org
#LitsyLove now in the hands of USPS ~ tagged book is @TieDyeDude current read & one I have read
One of the reasons I buy books by authors who are less known from Amazon is so that I can patronize the author and get my reviews published. While serving on Mesu Andrews‘s team, we experienced troubles with reviews being accepted because the reviewers weren‘t buying the books or leaving reviews for other items on Amazon. It‘s all a process.
I served as a coordinator for Mesu Andrews. I had the opportunity to host her in my home for a conference, drive her to Indiana, & meet her Mama. When this photo was taken she was speaking at a Ladies Retreat. She invited me as her guest at a time I couldn‘t afford an experience like that. She is a real woman with needs, health struggles & a heart for obeying God to love others. This is my favorite book of hers though not usually chosen by others.
my first review in several years ~ fellow Littens … These Tangled Threads is a yarn about 3 co-workers who experience struggles and make decisions that hurt each other. Ultimately, they each have to decide whether to trust and work together or hold on to fear and bitterness. ⬇️
If only Jane could maintain this mantra… #Pemberlittens #JaneAdjacent @StayCurious
#5JoysFriday Most of my joys are from our 26th wedding anniversary getaway ~ hot tub, Lego flowers, & doggies … all at our Airbnb, lunch at A&W (we don‘t have one near us) and I‘m still gushing over my #LitsyLove 💌 from @Sleepswithbooks @jenniferw88 wanna play?
This used book shop was wonderful! Watch out for #ListyLove 💌 as I was able to get 5 postcards…
I‘ve purchased this stack of Jacqueline Winspear books at 2 different used books stores over the past 2 days for my daughter. She is excited and I‘m thankful for media mail. 📦
#Pemberlittens #JaneAdjacent @StayCurious Oh my! This is me…the more I learn about something/someone, the more I appreciate. At work on Tuesday, I told my Lt. thank you after he shared the historical practice of a procedure. He really did help me.
I was a bit disappointed with the seemingly large selection of books outside this elementary school. Many of these books were cast off classroom books. If we want kids to enjoy reading, we need to offer them free books that are exciting. I chose this book because my 17 year old son loved the Look and Find books so this one will go in my home. library for the grandkids.
I left 2 books at this library and chose this book about butterflies for myself. 🦋
While traveling, I love to visit Little Free Libraries. I chose this book for the grandkids. Although I couldn‘t tag it, it appears to be similar to Mary Poppins but the Aunt shares the bag with Sophia.
Minutes before leaving on a short road trip with my hubby, I received #LitsyLove from a ‘old‘ friend. My 💗 is full!
This scene was hilarious to me as I imagined these fancy women rushing to gawk at one of their own as if she was practically naked without her glamour.
#Pemberlittens #JaneAdjacent @StayCurious Thanks for hosting; this book has me giggling.
I‘m at work today so I am only able to focus on that so I‘ll borrow my favorite title “Nichole & the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day”. I love my job but the public can wear me down if I‘m not prepared.
Tagged book is an example of the woman of God I‘d like to respond like in ALL situations … Corrie Ten Boom
@Ash.on.the.line Want to play? @Eggs I was going to pass but I‘ll expose myself with honesty.

By page 11, I was happy that I had joined in on this group read. When I read this quote, I was baffled. Found this article online and now I adore the intentionality of the author. https://whatever.scalzi.com/2010/08/03/the-big-idea-mary-robinette-kowal/ I was able to read both chapters & enjoy the beauty of the glamour.

Plenty of #LitsyLove for a Monday 💌 Best welcome back advice from Debra is “It‘s all about joy not stress!” Tagged book is one of her current reads.
#SundayFunday with @BookmarkTavern This 1938 printing of Gone with the Wind belonged to my Grandma. In 1946, when my Mama was 6 weeks old, there was a house fire. This book survived but shows some damage. Still, I cherish it.
THANK YOU ~ there is so much #LitsyLove in this picture that it feels like a search and find puzzle. I love that the characters in the book exchange letters. I‘m thankful you sent more than one postcard and plenty of stickers so I can keep and send some. I am honored and appreciative immensely the love you‘ve shared. 💌
My thrift store shopping was fruitful ~ paper, stamps, ink, and a book for my personal collection (I often refer to my work days as terrible, horrible, no good, very bad days!) When my son stopped at the hardware, I perused the postcard selection. #LitsyLove 💌
@DebinHawaii Such fun! #5JoysFriday
1) new Tom‘s to break in 2) Disney Emoji Blitz~the only game I play on my phone 3) rug twining 4) my current read 5) 🎶 my go-to album this week Eight by Brooke Ligertwood
Suggested to my daughter that she read along with me the tagged book while I join #JaneAdjacent. She has had the book a few years and hasn‘t read it yet. She agreed! Don‘t you love this pillow she made? 🌻
I‘m so thankful for the Litsy community. As you can see, I set my reading goal low this year. After rejoining Litsy, I look forward to reading my usual choices and even eager to join in on #JaneAdjacent to read books like the tagged one here.
#WhatsNewWednesday Thankful I have made it a habit to read my devotional each morning at work. This is an election year and I work for the county sheriff. I know that trusting in God throughout any struggle in my life is critical to maintaining peace. Today, I need the encouragement to trust and be still. 👑
