Moving on. Let's give this one a go.
More like DES-Didn't Even Start. 4 pages in and nope, not for me.
#BookSpin @TheAromaofBooks
Read 2 of the 5 novellas in Lineage. Tamar's story was quite good and compelling, but Rahab's story was hella repetitive, and she kind of reminded me of Lydia from Welcome to Plathville #iykyk However, learning how the Israelites brought down the wall of Jericho was quite interesting.
So time for a break. Moving on to this month's #Bookspin
#WhatsNewWednesday
My outdoor reading and relaxing is finally complete!! And of course it has stormed every day since I tightened the last screw 🤷🏻♀️😆
Thanks for the tag @Eggs
1. Getting my first library card when I was 5 or 6 yrs.
2. The library book store and semi-annual book sale, thrift stores, and little free libraries.
3. A Line of Grace for the #BookedInTime reading challenge
#WondrousWednesday
Starting this for May #BookedInTime biblical fiction
Since it's 5 novellas I'm not sure if I'm going to read it straight through or break it up with some other reading 🤷🏻♀️
I liked the 80s nostalgia of Westchester County, where I grew up. As for the story itself, eh, it was alright and not as compelling as I thought it would be. I hate going into books with high expectations 😕

📖 I'm not a big mystery reader, but when a giant dome appears over a town people want to know where the hell it came from.
🍳At home I'm a scrambled eggs on toast kind of gal. But at a restaurant/diner it's always poached! 😋

Didn't do so great on the coming of age stories 🤦🏻♀️
But, I have to admit, there was a good portion of titles I never even heard of.
@dabbe Thanks for this; these lists are fun!! 💕
Started this #BlameItOnLitsy read last night

And here are the keepers from the boxes in my previous post 📚😁
There are similar sized stacks of books that I already own, so lots of sharing for the Little Free Libraries around town!!!
Hubby came home from work with a most wonderful surprise for me from his customer 😍🤩🥰
"The black hole cluster near Kessel reached out for the *Millenium Falcon* with jaws of gravity, drawing it close."

I love Foster's characters, but I grew very impatient with this book and just wanted it to end.

I need a palette cleanser read; and I haven't read Lori Foster in yearssssss, so 📖
A worthy read for Van Halen fans.
And a funny little cosmic book/life story: I saw VH in March 1984. The following month I met and started going out with my boyfriend and we realized we both saw VH the same night. As of yesterday, we're together 40 years! Just strange that I decided to read this book now 💫
