This is the second Hannah book I‘ve read, and I really enjoyed it! I know very little about the Vietnam War - which just proves one of the points Hannah explores here: the silence surround Vietnam and what the men & women experienced there and coming home.
At one point I was listening to the audiobook as I drove and a car with Vietnam Vet stickers pulled in front of me. That was a powerful moment.
pick5⭐️ holy shit! That was a roller coaster of emotions. Finally finish this beast, and it had me in all the feels at all times. I know not everybody is a Sarah J Maas fan, but I freaking love these books. 100% recommend😁 this was also my #BookSpin for #BookSpinBingo

Read 2 of the 5 novellas in Lineage. Tamar's story was quite good and compelling, but Rahab's story was hella repetitive, and she kind of reminded me of Lydia from Welcome to Plathville #iykyk However, learning how the Israelites brought down the wall of Jericho was quite interesting.

pickOh Evan, I‘m sending you hugs! This is such a wonderful, heartbreaking story, and I get how easily a tragedy 🎭 such as this could go awry with unexpected tangents in a high school setting. I haven‘t seen the musical but listened to the soundtrack (thanks Alexa!) as I neared the end of this book.

pickMy first Abby Jimenez book & I‘m a fan. I listened to this one over audio & kept laughing out loud especially over the parrot. I was influenced over an IG post about how the book discusses about anxiety. I really like the way Jimenez portrayed a main character with anxiety & what the experience can be like (representation matters). Some of it dragged towards the end but overall I liked it & have already put all her other books on hold. #bookspin
