pickZapata is the queen of slow burn love stories and this book proves it. Loved the characters and the plot. The story developed organically and I thought the dialog really worked. 4.5⭐️

pickI loved The Fallen Men series by this author. This is another series about anti-heores and I liked it but not as much as the other series. The plot was good but I didn't get as deeply connected to these characters as I wanted to. 3.5⭐️

bailedI normally love vampire stories. However, this one just didn't do it for me. Didn't like the characters and the plot was mediocre at best. I bailed at 32%. I feel that I made a good effort to finish. On to the next book! #HailTheBail

pickThis book has mixed reviews and upon finishing I get it. It is all character driven and it is a slow moving story. It reminded me of Bridges of Madison County expect it was longer. I thought the author did a decent job of describing life on the road with a rock band, the paparazzi, crazy fans, etc. In my opinion, this could have been better if the story was condensed. Still enjoyed. 4⭐️
