For my #weeklyfavorites this week, I just finished reading the tagged book. It was my favorite. It‘s a collection of classic fairytales. It‘s available on Kindle Unlimited to read and listen to. I have 3 Kindle Unlimited prompts on my #readyourkindle list and this book filled one of those prompts. These stories are short and I didn‘t know what else to read on Kindle Unlimited but I figured that I can‘t go wrong with fairytales. I like fairytales.

I just started this book. It‘s a boxed set with all 3 books in a trilogy. This book is on my #readyourkindle list. It‘s good so far.

I just finished listening to this week‘s short story “The Adventure Of The Beryl Coronet” for the #noplacelikeholmes readalong. I‘m ready for our discussion.

Fable made this quiz that you take and they match you with a soulmate from Bridgerton. I haven‘t read the series or seen the show but I thought this was a fun activity to do. This is my soulmate based off of how I answered the questions. Whoever this man is, he sounds like he‘s smart and handsome.

1. I watched the ACM Awards on Prime Video tonight. It came on Thurs night but I couldn‘t watch it. We were under a tornado watch. A bad thunderstorm came through and knocked the power out from 6-11 pm. Finally, the power was restored on Thurs at 11 pm.

I started the tagged book. I like the stories so far. A lot of them have had happy endings so far. The only one I‘ve heard that is dark and sad is The Little Match Girl. I don‘t remember the story very well because I‘ve only heard it once but from what I remember, it doesn‘t have a happy ending.

I had a hard time deciding what‘s my favorite. I haven‘t listened to these albums in a while but I really liked them. I liked every single song. I want to listen to these albums again sometime. It‘s very rare for me to like every song on an album. I usually like 1, 2 or 3 songs on an album.

I found this book that I want to read for my Kindle Unlimited prompt on my #readyourkindle list. I was looking through all the new books that are on Kindle Unlimited now and I couldn‘t find anything I wanted to read so I did a search for fairy tales. I haven‘t heard all of these fairy tales but I know that they‘re dark and that a lot of them have been adapted into Disney movies. This one is available now on Kindle Unlimited to read and listen to.

I‘m glad I was notified of new arrivals on Kindle Unlimited because last night after finishing my other Kindle book, I was trying to find something I want to read on Kindle Unlimited for my Kindle Unlimited prompt on my #readyourkindle list and none of the books were appealing to me or calling my name so I‘ll look at the new arrivals and see if I can find something that I want to read. I thought this would be an easy prompt but I‘m struggling.

I was invited to read the tagged book but I‘m going to wait until Sept to read it because I need a break from reading ARCs for a while. I haven‘t read the Finlay Donavan or Charley Davidson series. Charley Davidson makes me think of the motorcycle brand Harley Davidson. I wonder if there‘s motorcycles in that series. One day at the dog park, I actually saw and heard 2 guys riding motorcycles in my neighborhood. It was cool to see that.

I don‘t know what‘s going on with Goodreads. I just finished the tagged book. I‘m trying to review it on there and this error message keeps popping up so until Goodreads fixes the problem, I posted my review on StoryGraph. When Goodreads starts working again, I‘ll try posting my review again. I‘m sure I‘m not the only person on there that wants to post their book review but it‘s still annoying.

1. I went to the doctor for a physical this afternoon and I had bloodwork done.

2. My doctor is moving out of state. I‘ll have to find another doctor next time I go. I‘ll have to fill out more paperwork. I don‘t like paperwork.

3. My doctor gave me a 1 yr supply of my prescription and I picked up the prescription that the pharmacy already filled for me. The pharmacy texts me pickup reminders a lot until I pick it up.

1. My former stepmom took me and my former stepsister to the library. We checked out some books and took them home. We returned our books to the library but we never went back to check out more. I‘m glad they‘re gone. My stepsister was mean to me because she didn‘t understand me.

2. I get most of my books as ARCs or I order them online.

3. I just started Dark Ride by P.G. Kassel. It‘s set at an eerie amusement park.

Here‘s my review for a book I just DNF‘d from my #readyourkindle list along with the rest of the series. I‘m disappointed because I already bought all 3 books in the trilogy but now, I can move on to something better.

I saw this template on Instagram and thought it would be fun to share it here. This is my favorite Linkin Park song. It‘s the first song that ever got me into Linkin Park. I heard my brother listening to them when he was a teenager and I was a little girl. I started listening to them after that. When I found out Chester (the lead singer) died, I started crying. I don‘t even listen to the music anymore because of it.

I read more of this book while I was walking my dog at the dog park today. This is a reread for me. I liked it the first time I read it but now, I see why I never continued with the series. There‘s a romance in this and sex scenes. They haven‘t known each other very long. I just don‘t buy it that they love each other and the sex scenes aren‘t doing anything for me. I don‘t want to continue this series or finish the book.

I saw these weekly reminders on Instagram from an account I follow named nightreads. She makes really cute graphics. I wanted to post these in case anyone needs to be reminded.

1. I haven‘t been on a picnic. If I go with my mom, we might bring sandwiches and chips with bottled water or Coke in a can to drink. It depends on what she wants to drink. If I go by myself, I‘ll bring a sandwich, chips and Coke to drink. There‘s a park in my neighborhood with a pavilion area if I ever want to have a picnic.

2. If I go by myself, I‘ll bring a book I‘m currently reading. If I go with my mom, I don‘t know.

I saw this reel on Instagram. She started out by saying “Stop what you‘re doing and add this book to your TBR right this second” and then she held up this piece of paper that says this. I‘m doing this right now. This month, I read 3 books from my bookshelf. After I read them, I took them off the shelf and took 3 books out of a book stack I have on the floor and placed them on the shelf but I want to get the rest of the books off of the floor.

I just started reading this book. This is a reread for me. It‘s just as good as the first time I read it.

Here‘s my progress on #bookspinbingo. I don‘t have a bingo yet. I‘m going to be starting the next trilogy on my #readyourkindle list and this time, I have 3 #readyourkindle prompts which is perfect for the trilogy I‘ll be reading and I don‘t have to use the Free Space spots to fit in kindle books. I can use the Free Space spots for books that are not on my list.

Here‘s my progress on my #bookspinbingo picks. I DNF‘d both of them. Both are physical ARCs I have on my book shelf but I listened to them both on audio. I decided that I‘m going to DNF the tagged book in this post because I can‘t get into it. The tagged book was my pick for a Mood Read. I‘m still going to keep the Mood Read prompt on my list for next month because it helped me this month to read a physical book that I didn‘t add to my list.

I was sent a physical ARC of this book from Celadon Books and an audio ARC was sent to me from Macmillan Audio in 2023. I liked the mom Mrs. G who lives in Maine in this book. This book is set during WWII and this young girl was from London. She was sent to Maine to live with this other family to get away from the war that was going on and they became her second family. This was a nice story.

This week, I‘m sharing my #weeklyfavorites. The only book I finished this month and liked was the tagged book. It‘s about all of the women in the Bible. It was interesting. I think it‘s a good book for a Women‘s Bible Study group or to read on your own for fun like I was doing. I‘m not in a Bible Study group but I still got a lot out of reading this book. This one was on my #bookspinbingo list and I can finally cross it off.

Amazon is having a book sale. I just found out about it.

I decided that this is going to be my mood read for #bookspinbingo. I just started it but I‘m not liking it so far.

2. I drew this card from the tagged oracle deck. I like the images on the cards. They look so realistic.
3. I colored this Sun/Moon picture.
4. I have 5 books left to read from my graphic I made with physical books I want to read.
5. I took my dog for a walk to the dog park and she got in the puddles. It rained here recently. She was drinking the rainwater. She likes doing that.

2. My favorite way to prepare eggs is in the microwave. My mom taught me how to do it. I crack open 2 or 3 eggs in a cereal bowl, stir them up with a fork, heat them up for 1 minute, take them out and stir them up again. After that, I cut them up so they‘re scrambled, heat them up again for a minute and take them out. After that, I season them with salt and pepper or hot sauce.

I made more progress in this book last night. I‘m not enjoying it that much. It seems to be focusing a lot on the war and I don‘t like that even though I know it‘s set during a war. The man and woman in this story just met on the battlefield. I don‘t see any chemistry between them but that could change. I‘m glad this isn‘t a WWII book though because I get tired of reading those. I want to read about different time periods besides WWII.

I saw this recently about what Autism looks like in females. I‘m Autistic and I have a lot of these traits. I feel like I‘m awkward around people because I have a hard time keeping conversations going. I used to be in a book club with other ladies before Covid. I had a good experience. I didn‘t say a lot when the books were being discussed but I liked eating the food and drinking the wine. The food and wine was the best part.

One time in high school, I wore a peace sign necklace because I like peace signs and what they represent and a guy in my class said to me,”You like peace?” And I said,”Yeah.” And he said to me,”There is no peace.” I stopped wearing my peace sign necklace after that. I know there‘s no peace but I never stopped believing in peace.

1. I can sing. I‘ve been told I have a pretty singing voice. I can sew, crochet and I can color. If I‘m doing something artistically creative, I instinctively know which colors to use and put together. I see the whole picture. Sometimes, I start wondering what colors to use but then I say to myself to just trust my instincts. My instincts have never been wrong.

Look at what Audible said to me. I will get back to listening to this book again but I have another book I‘m listening to right now. I‘m not in a hurry to finish these stories. There‘s a lot of stories in here and I want to take my time. If I do all of them at once, it will be too much and I like reading other books in between reading the stories.

📚Started another book from my #bookspinbingo list. I knew I wasn‘t going to finish it on the last day of the readathon but I‘ve at least started it.

This was my first time participating.

I started this book during my walk at the dog park today. I‘m not invested in the story yet but then again, I only listened to the first 2 chapters. I‘m not sure if I‘m going to like it because some Goodreads reviews have said that it reads like a history textbook, has a lot of battle scenes and it doesn‘t focus on the romance as much but I‘m going to read this and see if I agree with the reviews.

Here‘s how I‘m doing on reading these physical books that I own. I have 5 books left to read. When I get done with this, I‘ll choose more books from my shelf to read. I started a little reading challenge for myself to read my physical books but I didn‘t give myself a deadline. I‘ve added the last 5 books on this graphic to #bookspin lists every month to motivate myself to read them.

Here‘s my review for a book I just finished reading. This is the second book I‘ve read for #awesomeapril. This will also count for #bookspinbingo. This book was picked last month when the numbers were drawn so now, I can cross this one off my #bookspin list and be done with it. It was interesting but I‘m not going to reread it. Reading it once was enough for me.

I just wanted to share this for anyone who didn‘t know. I hope this is helpful. This account on Instagram I follow just posted this reel talking about Audible. I just went and logged into my Audible account to check my settings and make sure that erotic content isn‘t being hidden from me. I don‘t want erotic content hidden from me.

Here‘s my #readyourkindle picks. #3 is a mood read. #7 is the third book in a trilogy. #9 is a Kindle Unlimited book but I don‘t have a book for that one either. If I finish the trilogy and have time, I‘ll start another trilogy that‘s a continuation of The Story Of Us trilogy. The next trilogy is on KU. #20 is a book with steamy chemistry and a mafia boss storyline. Is it a romance? I don‘t know but I think I would enjoy reading it anyway.

Chester Bennington, the singer from Linkin Park. R.I.P. Chester! I wish he would have written one. I would read it. I would even read memoirs from the band members if any of them decided to write them. My brother started listening to Linkin Park when he was a teenager and when I was a little girl. He and I like a lot of the same bands. We like talking about music. He was in Band in school and I was in Choir.
