I put off reviewing this book for a week because I felt like no matter what I drafted wasn‘t enough to describe to you how much I LOVED this book. The intense love these sibilings have for each other is enough to fill me up on the most of dreariest days. The Riva siblings are my comfort people 🤍

Unfortunately another booktok book that didn‘t live up to its expectations. With that being said, it was still a good book for those in between reading lulls. I didn‘t feel like I was reading about a couple in their late twenties “fake” dating but rather a high school relationship. I wish there was more character development beyond that. It was written in the third party so I feel like it was a missed opportunity to develop the characters more

"You mistake love , you think it has to have a future in order to matter but it doesn't…It matters only as it exists..love doesn‘t require a future” Dannie is a bold -Type A lawyer who has her whole life calculated down to every minute. Until the night of her engagement, to her long term boyfriend David, she visits the future in five years for an hour.

paytanmal pt2. She is met with a completely different life she has planned for herself. In a new apartment, with a different man, wearing a different ring on her finger. She spends the next five years trying to alter reality to avoid fate.

Just like the main character, you may think you have it all figured out but the book takes you on a big plot twist.

Great Gatsby (Classic) | F Scott Fitzgerald
Pickpick

The Great Gatsby is a classic of illusions and delusions. It is masterfully shallow, that it brings you back to re-read it over and over again. Each time, you find yourself questioning the true integrity of each character. Are their lives all made up of fabricated lies that brings them to false success? Or is there any truth the lives they live out.

paytanmal pt.2 Gatsby finds himself chasing a dream of success to provide for a woman that betrays him in the end. The true death depicted in this story, is of the heart. 2y
paytanmal pt.3 True maturity is realizing Daisy Buchanan is the real villain of the story. This of course doesn‘t take away the depth of villainous actions done by other characters. Mr. Carroway said it himself “Tom and Daisy - they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness, or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they made…” 2y

such a good thrift store find. this was such an easy light read. a beautiful book written about losing the one you love and the grieving process that follows. Sloan finds herself along the journey and learns how to grow in love again. a love story that all began because of a dog. Oh…and did i mention her new love interest is a rockstar! I think i‘m j to rock stars now 🤩 cheesy but cute

misconception is that this book doesn‘t have any character development & it‘s just a book of two people in constant emotional circles. it‘s much more, it depicts the true outcome of miscommunication & misunderstanding decaying a relationship between two people that obviously love each other. these two flaws can drive any two apart but Connell & Marianne have a bound that will always magnetize each other back together. it‘s hauntingly beautiful

Wow..wow, i hated this book as much as i loved it. but i feel like that was the point of the book, the author wanted to take you on the highs and lows of the journey. there were parts of me that wanted billy dunne to mess up and be with daisy but i also admired him much more for the fact that he continued to stay faithful…i just expected more chaos even tho the whole book was chaos but i‘m a fan of how taylor wrote it and i think it was perfect

this book was on my tbr and like magic i found it on a train in chicago when i was on vacation ♥️ so of course i ate that up & romanticized the heck out of that lol. the book tho is very predictable ! but still worth the read, i love emily henry‘s writing style. it was fun reading the development of the two main characters friendship over a span of 12 years! quick and easy light read

man i dragged this book out too long because I knew my heart would be shattered once the sad realization set that the series is concluded ( at least for now, i desperately hope). i don‘t think i‘ll ever find a series that could fill this void. words can‘t express enough how much i love them. till next time 🤍🤍

Of course Im a Stan for this series so I was gonna like it no matter what. But i rated it a so-so because it took me a while to get through it & i just feel like i wasn‘t zooming through it like i did the other books. A lot of story development. Almost felt like a bit too much at times. Still a great book and excited to read the rest of the series

Okay so i‘m only on page 82 of TCOGB but I just wanna say that when everyone was fan girling over Alastir I always perferred Delano for background Wolvens. Cause obviously Kieran is my favorite. & i‘m coming here now just to say I was right. Alastir betrayed them which we all knew and Delano comes to save the day.

mavey Love sweet Delano! You're in for a wonderfully wow and WTH ride, my friend! This book is so so good!! Happy Reading! Would love to discuss it after you finish it!❤ 3y

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ there is a no possible way that a book is this good!! & a sequel at that. i feel like book 2 of series start to slow down until the third book. but this book kept me on my toes. i‘m so in love with the characters introduced in this book and the whole demension of the night court and velarjs. i feel like they‘re my family. so happy to be a part of this story‘s journey 🥺♥️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I read this book because it was described as a retelling of beauty & the beast. It was very similar in that sense but it was the perfect amount. I felt like it was it‘s own story just as much. I thought it was well written & so captivating. I think fantasy romance is my new genre. I absolutely loved this pick & excited to read the rest of the series. I hope the hulu adaption does it justice. I‘d love to see these characters lived out

This book definitely dragged compared to the first one. I felt like the first book was just so quick for 600 pages. I still loved the relationship building between “Hawke” & Poppy. Just felt like there was a lot of new terms and bloodlines introduced in this book that it was kind of hard to follow. Still a pick tho! Also the “pretending act” dragged on we all knew they both knew they weren‘t pretending lol. Don‘t want to wait for the 3rd book 😭

I. Have. No. Words. This book is so well crafted. i was so nervous that a book of 613 pages was going to drag but let me tell you it doesn‘t one bit. the romance is well built up & doesn‘t feel forced. the plot is so rich & detailed that even if you‘re not a romance person you can still find this book incredible. i honestly think it‘s impossible to sum this book up in a short review. I wanna cry it‘s so good! the best book i have ever read

⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was a quick & easy read. It kept my attention & it didn‘t feel like it dragged which i liked. I just feel like i have read it before. The plot/story is unoriginal in my opinion. Its a cross of the hunger games/bachelor. I envisioned the world of hunger games & chris harrison being the reporter the whole time . It left no room for my imagination to take off. It‘s like junk food, i can‘t stop reading it. Even if it‘s not that great.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recant my statement on this book. I did fall in love w/ the characters. But boy did I have to work for it. I will say the first 200 pages could‘ve been summed up in 100. The book really didn‘t captivate me till page 300. I‘m happy I didn‘t bail though. This story helps you sympathize w/ the Villain Queen of hearts. Even the characters you love from Alice and Wonderland have a “dark” side that‘s explained in this book.

paytanmal Every person is a hero, a villain, a victim, and a survivor. It all depends on your perspective & the way you look at the situation/them. Still will rate it a so/so and a 4/5 star just because the beginning dragged a loooooot! but still worth the read. 3y
paytanmal one last comment. i did like catherine and jest‘s love but honestly it felt kind of forced and out of no where? does anyone else agree. like she had 200 pages to develop chemistry but all she really gave us was some eye flirtation and one sneak out! that‘s about it 3y

am i the only one that‘s finding it hard to visualize any of the characters in this book? i think that‘s a huge part marissa meyer missed...she explains scenes so very well and is very descriptive in that sense but when it comes to characters i know the color of their hair. that‘s about it...i feel so unattached to the characters :(

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I really really liked this one. It‘s beautifully written. Anna & Étienne‘s friendship is slow & well developed through out the novel. You can really feel the chemistry building and how deep their friendship grows through out the book. I love how it‘s not rushed & how a sense of “the real world” love get out of it. It feels like real time. Although i wish their romantic relationship had more time in the book I am still so pleased.

paytanmal i‘m so sad that i am done this book. i just loved how well st. clair treated anna. i just really wish there was another at least 100 pages so we could enjoy their romantic relationship side of them :( 3y

mavey @paytanmal I too felt the same way! Hit the right chords! The thrill of first love, angst and confusion of adolescence! ⭐️⭐️⭐️Second time reading through this book and again finding it hard to get through it. I loved the first book and the plot & plot twist but this book doesn‘t have much of a plot in my opinion. It‘s a lot of back and forth with Tess & Harden (Harry‘s lol) relationship to the point where it seems to redundant and over done. Makes me sad because these books were really my favorite back in the day. Still a good book but no “meat”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Again great character development in the third book. Jenny Han wasn‘t planning writing a third book in this series. But i am so happy she did. You follow Lara Jean and Peters journey on applying to college and the nerves that come with it. You see not only them individually developing but their relationship as well. Definitely my least favorite or three but i only think that‘s because I had to say goodbye to the characters.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I absolutely loved this series & i would reread it countless of times if my time allowed me. I loved how innocent & pure the romance was in these books. It was an easy read to! Made me feel all giddy like I was back in high school. Also these books gave me a new found hobby of baking! Never would of known I‘d enjoy it so much but Laura Jean really inspired me. Not to mention the movie adaptions are also my favorites too.

Everyone was raving about this so I had to read it! The book was slow all the way up to the last 50 pages. I found myself eager to finish the book though and was reading through it fast because everyone was talking about a “huge plot twist” at the end. When i got to the end, it was kind of something I already was anticipating. It was still a good light book to read but would rate it a 3.5/5 star book ⭐️⭐️⭐️
