If you're a heavy contemporary YA reader who loved the fault in our stars, this book may be for you. But for me, never has a book felt so much like a chore. I didn't feel like there was anything new to keep my attention, or that I cared enough about the characters and their love story to continue.

With THO being one of Rick's most hilarious books, I was kind of disappointed that my hangover from ACOMAF prevented me from fully getting into it till the end. But even despite that, THO has left a lasting mix of fun and betrayal in my heart that has replaced one hangover with another. Sigh. 94%

ACOMAF is about a million times better than ACOTAR, for one main reason: Character Development. In this book Feyre learns to depend on herself all the while grappling the lasting effects of the book before, but most importantly, she learns to be strong. ACOMAF is not a book you should pass up. 99%

BookishBron Yes, I loved ACOTAR, and then read this and LOVED it even more! 8y
offonmyown With all the hype surrounding ACOMAF, I've been thinking about reading ACOTAR, would you recommend it to ToG fans (like me!)? 8y
PrettyLittleReader @BookishBron Same! Most of it for me was Rysand 😍😍😍 8y
PrettyLittleReader @offonmyown absolutely. I enjoyed ACOTAR, but ACOMAF is just soooo much better. It's incredible. It's a bit different than TOG, but I think I actually may like this series better after ACOMAF 8y
offonmyown @PrettyLittleReader thanks for the insight! I'll put ACOTAR on my tbr and be on the lookout for a copy. 8y

I read this series a while back, but I still remember how much I loved the authors poetic writing style, and also Juliette's development from a weak, dependent girl, struggling with her own mind, to the bad ass that she is in ignite me. 94%

Kd_reads I just started this series yesterday! Can't wait to read more. 8y
PrettyLittleReader @Kd_reads this is probably one of my favorite series ever. I'm so jealous that you get to read it for the first time. 😄 8y

With Cassie's usual round of extremely lovable characters, vivid and suspenseful world, and heart wrenching moments that make you want to throw the book across the room ( I'd never do that), you'll absolutely love this book. I NEED LORD OF SHADOWS! ➰

KeoReads I'm currently reading this😁 8y

The contemporary companion series to make even the most unromantic hearts melt. These books are just pure fun, and I have no idea why someone wouldn't want to read them. 😍 95%

charlene I read the book years ago and I'm scared that if I read it now, I wouldn't be gushing about it the way I used to 😅 8y
PrettyLittleReader @charlene if you want to, you should read them again. I also noticed that they're pretty awesome at getting rid of book hangovers. 8y

Faeries, Beauty and the Beast, and Sarah J Maas? Yes please. I'll take ten. This book was exactly what I needed to get through the stress of testing week, allowing me to escape into feyre's world, a world that I can't wait to get back into. 93%

The writing was something I had to really work towards to enjoy at first, but once this book starts going I found that it was a book worth sticking it out for. 85%

offonmyown One of my favorites! This series gets better with each book, so yes, definitely worth sticking it out. 8y
PrettyLittleReader I'm still on a book hang over from when I finished blue lily, lily blue about a week ago. I NEED the raven king. Ganseys definitely my fav character. 8y

Fun, an easy read, and heart wrenching, this book is succeeds at being very entertaining, but it is not for those who are looking for something more sophisticated and developed.

charlene The books have pretty covers, but I wasn't really a fan of the story or the main character 😁😅 8y
PrettyLittleReader Same! I felt like I spent most of the series face palming about America's stupidity 8y
charlene @EpicReads made videos with Barbies. I thought it accurately told the story of each book. Thanks for following me, btw! 8y

One of my largest problems with writing reviews is that for the best books, words like epic and phenomenal are great, but I feel like the book deserves more. This is one of those books. Easily one of the best conclusions to one of my favorite series.

This novella was the perfect insight into Warner that I wanted (and needed). I wish I had read it immediately after shatter me, because this was just as great as the rest of the series, something that a lot of novellas don't achieve.

This book isn't the worst I've ever read, but compared to the funny, suspenseful and spectacular previous books, this book might as well be the disappointing equivalent to going to a book store to get a book and it not being there. 😕
