Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I won't say what happens, but I feel like part 3 really just... cheapened the story? I mean this book made me take a long, hard look at myself, and then it just switched paths so suddenly? This book doesn't have a 'happy' ending, but it isn't the ending I was expecting. I want to say so much, but I'm not because I don't want to spoil it.

This wasn‘t an awful romance. Fast paced, love scenes were well written. I think it would have been better if it was a little longer and explored their relationship more 🤷🏻‍♀️

This book wasn‘t awful. It was a pretty good story about a couple who have a forbidden love affair, get super powers, trials and tribulations ensue. I liked the story. The ending was good. There just wasn‘t enough oomph to get a 4 star rating from me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This was such a cute middle grade book. I looked forward to hearing Alex tell the stories he wrote every night. Great read for Halloween coming up! 🎃

I read this book in just a couple hours. This book is rated for Middle Aged kids but I thought the story was a little heavy for that. It does make you have some introspection. I really enjoyed this read.

This book made me laugh and cry. I understood so much of what she was saying. I think anyone struggling with mental illness would enjoy this book. It also was my last book to complete my yearly goodreads challenge! 4/5 ⭐️

This book was so good. Between this book and Six of Crows Leigh Bardugo is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. There was a twist I didn‘t expect, and I loved the romance in it. 5/5 ⭐️

3.5 stars. I was so excited to read this book because everyone online was raving about it. Maybe my expectations were too high. I love YA, but the writing seemed juvenile. It was told from four POVs, but it was hard to tell the four people apart. I kept having to go back to look to see who I was reading. The last 15% was pretty good. I did enjoy the new romance like I do with most YA novels.

3.5 stars. This book started out slow for me but got better toward the end. The “main”? Villain surprised me. Not sure if I was into it enough to read the sequel.

I really enjoyed this psychological thriller. It was a quick, easy read. I finished it in a day. I didn‘t see the ending coming, but if I‘m honest, I never do. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I cannot begin with how amazing this book was. It had twists I didn‘t see coming. There‘s a new budding romance for me to ship (two actually!)! Omg. I LOVED IT! 🖤🖤 I cannot wait to read the sequel!

LoverofLit The second in this duology is even better! One of my favorite sets! 6y

This book was amazing. It sucked me in and held me until the end. As a Mississippian myself, I felt like I knew these people. These were people I grew up with. My only complaint was that it got wordy at times and I had to reread. 4.5/5 stars. Would definitely recommend.

This was an okay cozy mystery. It was a little slow to start and I feel like it had an abrupt ending. Quick, easy read.

This book wasn‘t as gripping as other psychological thrillers I‘ve read, but at about 48% I did not want to put it down. I could not wait to see how the ending turned out! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

This was a cute, fast romance read. The lead character was kind of adorable. She sometimes just made up words when her crush made her flustered, which is something I could totally see myself doing. #summerlovinreadathon #telleverybookworm5
