Found this gem at the library and so far, I‘m in love!! Definitely going to be purchasing this and the others in the series. Have any of you read this and/or the others?

emz711 They are all incredible. He just released the last one last year. His young adult books are also good. Holy crap though I just keep reading them over and over and I figure out more each time with the time lines 7mo

Bought this last year when it came out and just picked it up the other day to read (I had to read the rest first) and I‘m almost halfway through! I can‘t get enough of this series and I can never put them down!

I am loving these books!! I can‘t believe it took me this long to finally get to them. I finally broke down and got an audio book from the library the other day (the first book in the series) while I‘ve been laid up in bed, not in much of a condition to read a physical book. They‘re not too bad.

Picked this up from the ARC shelf for employees at my job (Barnes & Noble)!! This, I must admit, is my first J.R. Ward book. I know of the author, just haven‘t actually read any of her books until now! Really exited about reading and reviewing this! It‘s been a while since I‘ve done one!

Had to replace my missing copy and found a new one at the library for $1!! And then I paid $6 for a pint of ice cream that I don‘t need 😒.... But I‘m feeling some type of way right now so I‘m self-medicating with these two and some music.

keys_on_fire My fav from Graeter‘s!! 1y
Mammaletterario @keys_on_fire My favorite hands down!! My dad got me hooked and I‘m kind of mad because it‘s so expensive! Lol 1y
keys_on_fire Cheaper than the other local fav, Jeni‘s. Their pints are 8.99 or 9.99. Good stuff, but that‘s a super special treat lol 😂 1y
Mammaletterario @keys_on_fire I‘ve never had Jeni‘s and after one of the ones shut down here for a salmonella outbreak, I haven‘t had the desire, lol and I‘ve hit my max for the amount I‘ll pay for ice cream!! 🤣 1y

Took a trip to Half Priced Books and found this gem; A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, Ulysses, Dubliners, Finnegans Wake. I have been wanting to get Finnegans Wake and his other novels for a while now but always ended up putting whatever one I picked up back and getting something else. I had no clue there was an omnibus if his work!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽. I am really excited to have this in my library!

Ugh. So I just moved into an apartment (temporarily) and found that water had came in from outside when we got a ton of rain the last two days. This one got the worst of it, and my box spring for my bed. I used my blow dryer to dry it out quickly because I didn't know how long it had been wet and I didn't want mold and mildew to set in. I think I made it worse 😪😪😪😪.

Started this 9 days ago and I'm over halfway finished. My intention was to start reading it but not totally abandon the other books I am reading but clearly Mr. King had other plans! I just watched the original movie and I plan on being done with this before the new one comes out! Sadly, I cannot say that I have read it before. I am late to the party!

JanuarieTimewalker13 I'm super late to the party! But this is def on my TBR! 3y
Mammaletterario @JanuarieTimewalker13 it's really good! I had started reading his book called The Stand but that one was a little slow starting for me and then I started this one and it was the total opposite! 3y

I meant to post this the Saturday before last, when I got them but obviously that did not happen. My latest haul from B&N and it was a big one! Among all these beauties, I finally got the journal I have been eyeing for a very long time as well as an ink and quill set! I had heard of The Executioner's Song but never read it. I am sure that I would never have been able to fit in among the female circles in the time novels such as Middlemarch take place. I have not the patience for such insufferable characters as Rosamond Lydgate (neé Vincy) nor the gossip entertained by those nosey older women.

Uneven Exchange | S K Derban
Pickpick

I love how the author has a strong central character that is not only a female but is a believer in God and does not hide her faith but rather uses it to get her through something not many ordinary people could do, but then again, God's children are hardly ordinary! S.K. Derban has done a magnificent job telling a harrowing story of love, faith and strength, mixed with suspense, adventure, humor and some good old "cloak and dagger!"

This book was a struggle for me initially, primarily because of the way it is written. The author jumps back and forth between 1913, when the main character Eva Longacre is attending Vassar, and 1923 when she has since left college and is married to a very wealthy man. Once I picked the book back up, I finished it within about two hours. A tale of love, friendship, loneliness, privilege and freedom, this book turned out to be a wonderful read.

The Violin of Auschwitz: A Novel | Maria Angels Anglada

It was too short! This story gives me a greater appreciation for the sustaining power that music can have. Coupled with love and sheer will to live, Daniel creates a violin infused with the love, determination, hope, passion and even fear that carried him through the most trying time of his life.

This book, this story, encapsulates so much within it's covers; love, forgiveness, adventure, pain, happiness, friendship, desire, fear, anger, healing and the power literature has to affect it all. A truly warming tale that will make you laugh, cry, get angry then want to find a cozy place to read!

Tasa's Song | Linda Kass
Pickpick

This book tells the story of a Jewish girl named Anastasia, or Tasa. It's about her family's struggle through the Nazi occupation of Poland, their home, and the Soviet pushback. It's a beautiful story of love, loss, strength, uncertainty and the sustaining power music can have through it all.
