Today‘s B&N haul, yep, bags too which are gorgeous! What I‘m most excited about is this absolute gem I got, The Books of Earthsea!!! I‘ve been trying to buy this book for the LONGEST time, like over a year!! I started reading the copy I borrowed from the library but when I turned it back in, I vowed the next time I picked it back up, it would my own copy. I‘m excited for the others too, don‘t get me wrong, lol! 🙌🏽🙌🏽😍❤️❤️

My ARC finally came!!! I‘m so excited about this and I just finished “Emma” so this is perfect timing (I say that like I‘m not in the middle of a ton of books 😬🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ LOL). Anyway, adventure and history await!

Today‘s spontaneous book haul!! FINALLY was able to get some books I‘ve been eyeing and wanting for a while now! I can‘t wait to start Grant!! If anyone has read it or anything in the pic, please let me know your thoughts! 🤗. Oh, and off to the side there, those spirals belong to a lovely Kate Spade planner I got for a steal (original price was $30, I got it for $2!)

BookishMarginalia Great #bookhaul! 🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 3y
Mammaletterario @BookishMarginalia Thank you! I‘m really excited about it! 3y

So this is today‘s (and long overdue) book haul!! This particular book (second from the top) I am so excited about! I had seen it a while back and told myself the next time I go back I would get it and I did! Most of the others are for school (research proposal project...yippee 🙄).

As soon as I saw this gem, there was no hesitation! I have been trying to get a volume set for ages!!! THIS is indeed a first edition and the books have only been opened once (based on condition of pages and cover, aside from the writing on spine), and the third one feels and looks as if it was never read (aside from the writing on the spine)! The spines show some fading at the top but my guess is it‘s because of where it was sitting/stored.

Found this gem at the library and so far, I‘m in love!! Definitely going to be purchasing this and the others in the series. Have any of you read this and/or the others?

emz711 They are all incredible. He just released the last one last year. His young adult books are also good. Holy crap though I just keep reading them over and over and I figure out more each time with the time lines 5y

I am loving these books!! I can‘t believe it took me this long to finally get to them. I finally broke down and got an audio book from the library the other day (the first book in the series) while I‘ve been laid up in bed, not in much of a condition to read a physical book. They‘re not too bad.

Had to replace my missing copy and found a new one at the library for $1!! And then I paid $6 for a pint of ice cream that I don‘t need 😒.... But I‘m feeling some type of way right now so I‘m self-medicating with these two and some music.

keys_on_fire My fav from Graeter‘s!! 6y
Mammaletterario @keys_on_fire My favorite hands down!! My dad got me hooked and I‘m kind of mad because it‘s so expensive! Lol 6y
keys_on_fire Cheaper than the other local fav, Jeni‘s. Their pints are 8.99 or 9.99. Good stuff, but that‘s a super special treat lol 😂 6y
Mammaletterario @keys_on_fire I‘ve never had Jeni‘s and after one of the ones shut down here for a salmonella outbreak, I haven‘t had the desire, lol and I‘ve hit my max for the amount I‘ll pay for ice cream!! 🤣 6y

Ugh. So I just moved into an apartment (temporarily) and found that water had came in from outside when we got a ton of rain the last two days. This one got the worst of it, and my box spring for my bed. I used my blow dryer to dry it out quickly because I didn't know how long it had been wet and I didn't want mold and mildew to set in. I think I made it worse 😪😪😪😪.

Started this 9 days ago and I'm over halfway finished. My intention was to start reading it but not totally abandon the other books I am reading but clearly Mr. King had other plans! I just watched the original movie and I plan on being done with this before the new one comes out! Sadly, I cannot say that I have read it before. I am late to the party!

I am sure that I would never have been able to fit in among the female circles in the time novels such as Middlemarch take place. I have not the patience for such insufferable characters as Rosamond Lydgate (neé Vincy) nor the gossip entertained by those nosey older women.
