“The Big Bad is back, baby!”
I enjoyed this! Alternate universe Chosen One Cordelia comes to the Buffyverse we know &love to enlist the help of Spike, Indira (a new Slayer, chosen one of many)& some new & old friends. But who will be tempted by the way things could have been & the way they are in this other reality? Tara &Cordy are so central to the plot, it seemed very much that they were taking these characters back from Whedon & I‘m a fan.

pickWow. This book was really dark and gritty and gory. What a tragic upbringing. It was really cool learning about her transition into Slayer and the whole story with the vengeance demon and the Maenads and past slayers and it was totally written in her voice. Wasn‘t expecting this book to have the layers and depth that it did

pickFor my very first comic book, I'm very happy with my choice. As a big fan of Buffy & Angel... I really enjoyed these stories of vamps, Buffy, Angel & even Spike & Drucilla. I give this book a 5/5
pickOk, so I know a lot of Buffy fans talk crap about these books/compare them to fanfiction and don‘t consider them canon BUT this read like a cheesy fun first season episode and I really enjoyed reading it! Cheesy, quirky dialogue with lots of bad puns and corny references and a interesting storyline about shapeshifters and carnies, this was a fun and quick read. This was a first season book, I have a feeling they get better as the series progresses
