So many of my favorite bookish characters have been posted already, (Elizabeth Bennett, Jo March, Hermione, Rory Gilmore) so I‘m going with Cassandra Mortmain from the tagged book.
She‘s perceptive and funny, and journals obsessively, recording her eccentric family‘s shenanigans. She also loves to read and frequently compares her situation to that of the heroines of classic books.

Two of my favorite bookworms are William Herondale and Tessa Gray from The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare. They have an angsty, overly dramatic, rather typical ya fantasy type relationship intertwined with discussions of Vathek and A Tale of Two Cities and other books throughout the trilogy 🖤

I was trying to think of a different sort of fictional bibliophile than all my usual childhood favourites and remembered this series of “Bookman” mysteries I‘d read years ago. It may be time for a reread!

My favorite bibliophile is Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series. I grew up with Hermione who made it normal to read voraciously, have opinions, support friends, go to libraries, and love unconditionally. #vivabibliophile

My favorite literary bookworm has got to be Elizabeth Bennet. 💗💗💗 I love how she chooses reading over socializing with unpleasant people. She reads for her own enjoyment, not to impress anyone else. Good for you, Lizzy.
