WTF #LibraryThing since you‘ve switched over my service is pretty much nonexistent.....I can‘t see posts, I‘m not getting my tags, I can‘t refresh ....I‘m not a #happycamper 😡🤬😡🤬

JoScho Mine is in and out as well. About 10 minutes ago I could not get it to open at all. I am hoping they work out the kinks soon. 6y

Please remember and consider that when tagging: I recognize and empathize with your frustration and do want to see the cause resolved, and also encourage folks to use direct customer service methods: emailing litsy@LibraryThing.com is the most expedient. kgriffith Anyone who‘s still having issues particularly re: WiFi, if you haven‘t yet, reset your router. It takes at least ten seconds of being unplugged, so don‘t just turn it off and on again! The likely problem is called "DNS caching." Basically, your system has cached the old location of the Litsy servers. @blondie @hyperashley @JoScho @Mdargusch (edited) 6y

Jerdencon I'm still having the same issues too and have tried everything. For some reason my wifi won't pick it up. So annoying to have to use data to get on litsy and it seems like there is no solution to the prob 😡 very frustrating 6y
kgriffith @Jerdencon if you use Facebook you might join the group if you haven‘t already, that‘s the most likely spot for solutions that have worked for others to crop up: https://m.facebook.com/groups/181250115991736 I haven‘t been following as closely there so I can‘t point to specific posts/comments but it‘s been pretty active. 6y

emilyhaldi Super frustrating! I still can't open litsy if i'm on wifi so I'm using cellular data like @hyperashley 😒 hoping the issue gets resolved soon 🤞🏻 6y

TheBookgeekFrau I tried the suggestions from Tim-reset modem, resent router and nada, nothing, still needing to use cell data. I hate this 🤬 6y

Kaye Mine seems to work sporadically. It‘ll seem ok at times, then another issue will start. Currently, I can post, although it‘s slower to show posts, slower to see the comment thing on the bottom show I have comments, and in the area under where people type their original comment when they post, you can‘t see that there are other comments , like it used to say 12 comments... I‘m mainly using my iPad . Worked fine BEFORE . I don‘t do Facebook,or LT. (edited) 6y

SaturnDoo @Cinfhen 😢😢😢😡😠😡😠😡😠 I am so sorry to hear this. I had a bad feeling and still do about this LT takeover. I am not sure what to tell you to do. I use my phone's data because it's unlimited so don't know if I can access Litsy with WIFI. I can see the issue for those who need to use WIFI. This upsets me that my fellow Littens are struggling like this. 6y

lorannen @GlassAsDiamonds We understand not everyone is a FB fan, so please feel free to email us (litsy@librarything.com) or tag @litsy & we'll do our best to help. We made the FB group in part Litsy lacks a forum feature and we didn't want anyone to feel required to sign up for a LibraryThing account. 6y

Their watching you @GlassAsDiamonds 👀it‘s hard to tell...my WiFi has been glitchy so I‘m not sure if it‘s fixed or not...I appreciate that LibraryThing is trying to resolve the issue but I don‘t have a FB account and certainly have no intention of opening one just to troubleshoot my Litsy, which was running smoothly before Tuesday 😬I‘m not gonna stress about it anymore...it‘s a #buzzkill for my #vacayvibes 🥂☀️🏖 6y

I agree about FB & that‘s my issue with so much of this: instead of finding a solution to information dissemination within the Litsy ecosystem like a thread publicized by individual users which currently works, we got stuck with the “logic” that “not all users have the 3rd party app LT so we‘ll choose the 3rd party app FB and discuss the future of Litsy there”... 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ 6y
