Good story. Some problematic things.
I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember why!). Feel free to join in!

My summer list! My list for #14books14weeks2023. These are all my personal books. Some have been on my TBR list forever. I am starting with Tombstone. My son just graduated from high school. He loves Westerns, and Tombstone is his fav. We leave in 2 weeks for Vegas, Zion, the Grand Canyon, Phoenix, and of course a stop in Tombstone. Thanks for hosting @TheHeartlandBookFairy !
Tom Clavin writes very entertaining books on history. With a specific focus on the history of the Wild West and WW2. Often with his writing partner Bob Drury. They read more like novels than dry books on history. I enjoy their writing styles. This book on Tombstone not only covers the infamous gunfight and it‘s aftermath. But a good history of the Earps and the town itself. As well as good histories of the other characters.
This is the first Larry McMurtry I‘ve read. Not my usual genre but here goes.
Read this short book in honor of McMurtry's passing. I don't think it will stick with me for long.
Maybe if I had known more about Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday I would have liked it better.
Book mail! Always fun to discover you‘ve won a book when you don‘t remember when/where you entered the giveaway. I‘m not on goodreads though (see their note) but will review on LibraryThing and here.
Spring is sprung in NZ, blossoms everywhere. Just one book for #hiselderliness this week. #bookreport
He‘s been reading Jeff Guin books after enjoying his Charles Manson. This one was 3 stars.
“Its a bit complicated for my brain. You‘ve got Earp on one side and all his brothers. Then the other mob, a whole lot of them. Then one gets shot so they have to shoot someone back. I got confused about who shot who. ⬇️
#3 books that I hated.
The Last Kind Words Saloon - I still wonder if McMurtry needed a little money when he wrote this one.
The Couple Next Door - I just wanted my time back after I finished this one.
Not the Killing Type - I can‘t believe I read seven(!) books in this series. I finally realized the main character was awful.
