#Aperella I had a busy weekend & missed 2 musical prompts so today, I'm attempting to do 3 prompts in one post.
When I hear #Supermodel I immediately think of the Jill Sobule song in Clueless rather than the SZA one. Clueless of course is an excellent #Homage to Jane Austen's Emma & although there wasn't a character based on her in Clueless, Emma's neighbor, Miss Bates, NEVER gets #TiredOfTalking.
And that is how you do it. (Cue 🎤drop...)🤣
The Brontës (or at least Charlotte and Emily) were among the first to point out that the brooding #supermodel (or mean spirited MC) is what you should go looking for when you want a husband ?

This lovely book was published in 1950 and Gayelord has some catty tips on how to achieve a #supermodel appearance as you age, noting:
-naturally, your problems are few if you have retained a youthful body. If you have permitted yourself to grow fat, start to get rid of it at once.
-Do not worry about character lines and fine wrinkles. Just be sure that they are in the right places and that they have an upward, not a downward, slant.

Marisa Berenson was my favorite #supermodel during the 70‘s and 80‘s. She is the granddaughter of the famous fashion designer Schiaparelli. Diane Von Furstenberg was her bestie. I loved this YA book about an overweight girl that grew up in the world of beauty pageants. She knew she was not a #supermodel but decided to enter herself in a pageant even though she was discouraged from doing so. Lots of body positive messages in this book. #healthyyou #hopintospring #aprella
