This one was so much better than the first book!

First off, I have to preface this review by saying I have seen the second season of the show, so I did know a lot of the plot points going into the book and obviously wasn‘t surprised by some of the things that happened.

This book was much more emotional than the first.

I really loved the relationship between Peri and their father in this middle grade book! They are so loving together, but also Peri‘s father isn‘t portrayed as this perfect ideal of fatherhood. He fails sometimes, but he always tries to be better. 💖
