I just finished my last book for September, partly because I wanted it on the September list but mostly because I had to know what happened! This is not my genre of choice, but I did enjoy this book. Creepy and definitely glad I did not end up reading it during the Christmas season, since it just might suck out all the joy of that time of year.

Theresa Me too. I haven't decided which one, tho. I did the audiobook & Kate Mulgrew did a great job with the narration, so I might look for another one that she narrates. 7y

Not sure this or the image are spoilers,just being safe. I loved this,mostly. Agnieszka was a heroine I adored as well as her friendship with Kasia and her banter/relationship with the Dragon.While I didn't necessarily dislike the 'center' of the book,I found myself being less inclined to pick it up when Marek came back and dragged Agnieszka to court. Maybe that just means I liked Sarkan a lot? Who knows. 🐲#litsyatoz #litsyreadingchallenge #lrc24

Whew, finished his one tonight. This is my choice for #LitsyReadingChallenge #LRC24 #freezerhorror. It wasn't actually so scary that I had to put it in the freezer, but it was creepy enough that I didn't allow myself to read it too close to bedtime! @jessica

Finally finished!!! Like most King novels (IMO), it really ramped up at the end and gave you something unexpected. Great book! Didn't scare me, which I was expecting it would.... oh well! Still enjoyed it! Finished the final 400 pages via audiobook, read by Steven Weber. He did a fantastic job!!

If you want to learn about baseball, do not read this book. If you want to read a play-by-play of how a male baseball player thinks, talks, and acts, read this book. I changed this book from the LRC free space to #lrc24 #FreezerWorthyHorror. I did not enjoy delving into the male locker room mind.
