Congratulations @Lizpixie and thanks for the giveaway! #lizpixies3x3giveaway

It's so hard choosing faves but here are mine:
#historicalmystery - tagged book, I love anything in the 18th Century!
#fantasy - this got me reading on my own as book 3 scared me; have tagged my fave of the series - Bellatrix ❤
#crimethriller - was torn between this 1 & John Connolly, but chose this as although John told me I liked the genre I discovered Harry first.

The Code of the Woosters | P. G. Wodehouse

Well, @Lizpixie it has taken me a while to create my entry for your lovely #LizPixies3x3Giveaway because I have had trouble narrowing down to three genres, much less three books! ? But here are three I love. I read a lot of what I call practical nonfiction - love learning how to actually do/make things. Wodehouse is basically his own genre, something like "overbearing aunt humor." And I do love romance that doesn't take itself too seriously. ⬇️

TheAromaofBooks Thank you again for the giveaway, and congratulations on reaching 300,000!!! 2w

ImperfectCJ Someone else with Backyard Homestead! We don't have a big enough yard to use most of the information now, but I still love the book. 2w

TheAromaofBooks @BookishMe - Right?? I have so much love for his books!!! 2w
TheAromaofBooks @ImperfectCJ - I have a big soft spot for Storey Publishers in general. Backyard Homestead is one of the first of their books I ever purchased, and I was hooked, even if I can't use all the info due to space constraints!! I have loads of their vegetable gardening books, too. 2w
ImperfectCJ @TheAromaofBooks I like their books, too. I've had Carrots Love Tomatoes for several years, and I recently bought (tagged) for our patio garden hoping to grow more edibles and maybe some recall-proof romaine lettuce. I have never had much luck growing lettuce. *Sigh* 2w
TheAromaofBooks @ImperfectCJ - I've had to try different lettuces to find ones that work for me - I don't have very good luck with “head“ types, but the leaf types usually work for me as long as I keep them out of the beating sun. Some veggies are just easier for some people - I've been told carrots are the easiest things to grow, and I have terrible luck with them!! 2w

Congratulations Liz with your impressive achievement ❤️🎈
Thanks for lots of inspiring posts and this great #Lizpixies3x3giveaway ‼️

My three favourite genres are:
📍Literary fiction
📍Travel journalism

Above you can see a favorite book in each genre!

veritysalter I had to do Remains of the Day at school for my English Literature GCSE - it is the worst book to give to 15/16 year olds. I need to reread it now as an adult. 2w
BarbaraBB @veritysalter I wonder if you‘d like it now. I loved it as an adult because all of what was said between the lines but I can‘t imagine many 15/16 years old looking for meaning between the lines 😉 2w
veritysalter @BarbaraBB I remember there being an entire chapter about polishing silver. 2w

BarbaraBB @veritysalter Really? I don‘t remember that! 2w
veritysalter Maybe I‘m mis-remembering, it was 25 years ago. Or I could be thinking of a bit from the film. 2w
BarbaraBB @veritysalter It could very well be true, it is the kind of scene that would perfectly fit the book indeed! 2w

Congratulations, @Lizpixie 🎉!
The Litsy community is so warm & generous. I love these Litfluence giveaways because they showcase that spirit from every angle.

Your #Lizpixies3x3giveaway prompt was tough! For my favorite genres/titles, I chose:

💘Literary Fiction: A Tale for the Time Being
💘Children‘s Literature: Bridge to Terabithia
💘Memoir: Priestdaddy

(I almost went with Fantasy but the competition between book titles was too fierce 🐲!)

PurpleTulipGirl Bridge to Terabithia has been a favorite for a long, long time. The relationship between Jess and Leslie is so beautifully told. (edited) 2w
monalyisha @PurpleTulipGirl Same! I have a tattoo designed after the specific flora/fauna mentioned in their woods. It broke me when I was 9 & continues to do so every few years. But it‘s also so hopeful. 💞 2w
