Ian & Jesse meet at a gaming convention & have an instant connection but Ian fails to tell Jesse they already know each other online. They both have a lot of insecurities & imposter syndrome feelings & it takes a lot of work for them to deal w/ the emotional baggage holding them back & affecting their ability to build a relationship. There‘s a bit of a Beauty & the Beast vibe with Dominic as the young handsome man trying to find his way after getting out of the army & Luke as the older grump with high walls around his heart.
