The Blue House | Phoebe Wahl

Such a beautiful story about a son and his dad who have to move from their favorite blue house. It showed all the faults with the house that they loved and how they made their new home loved just as much as the blue house. Wonderful graphics.

This book grew on me. After reading it outloud 18 times to K-5, the points kids took from it were: it's true, they could relate to feeling invisible, and they wanted to know more about homeroom. But what they seemed to really enjoy was designing their own landscapes.
