#CopSong is a tough hashtag since I don‘t read that many crime novels. However, I did fall into the hype of The Woman in the Window last year, so there is at least one crime novel on my shelf. Admittedly, not my favourite.

Murder in the City: New York, 1910-1920 | Wilfried Kaute

#copsong has me thinking about this amazingly morbid book I found on #bookoutlet!! Back in the nineteenth and early twentieth century NYC cops used to dispose of crime scene photos in the Hudson River when they were no longer needed. These photos were forgotten in an old building, lucky for us!, and therefore survived to be published in this book 🔪

I pretty much bought this book for the endpapers, but it turned out to be really good. 😂

He‘s flawed with a horrible backstory, but he‘s very much the nice guy, to his detriment where his nuts ex wife is concerned. When he falls in love with Dr Sara Linton, Angie goes on a psychotic stalker rampage & even then Will tries to work things out peacefully before finally seeing her as the bitch queen she is. He‘s also the nice guy to his GBI partner Faith.

Lizpixie @Kappadeemom me too. I don‘t know who‘s worse, Lena or Angie. Both have made Sara‘s life a living hell, one causing the death of her husband then the near death of his son, the other stalking her both online & in real life, leaving disgusting messages on her car & breaking into her home. Slaughter really knows how to write psychotic women! 5y
