While I am not usually a fan of rhyming verse in children‘s books, Pinkney‘s luminous illustrations make me want to reach out and touch the fur on bear‘s back and rabbit‘s belly. Read earlier today for #ChildrensClassicRead2023 we had a copy of this beautifully illustrated children‘s book when I was growing up & it was fun to revisit it.
I had a bad headache this afternoon & as I have a day trip to Hilo for work meetings tomorrow that I need to prep gifts for, I took some pain reliever & ended up taking a nap. Hoping to finish wrapping in the next 90 minutes so I can enjoy #HyggeHour ❄️💙❄️
This was a cute book. I listened to the audio & imagined the illustrations. I hope to go to the library this weekend and actually see the beautiful illustrations. A great book to round out the year with #ChildrensClassicRead2023
