May‘s #bookspinbonanza is SO over the top, I‘d love to be tagged @TheAromaofBooks ! I‘ll aim to read 3 in order but will probably end up reading something very random from the list (like book 17). Such a fun idea! I‘ve gone for 12 physical books and 8 ebooks - because apparently they not only still exist, but quietly multiply if you ignore them! #bookspin

TheAromaofBooks Goodness no, that would be crazy. With hundreds of unread Kindle books already in my system, there's no way that I would buy more just because they are on sale for $.99!! 4y

2. So there are always a few “assigned“ books I want to get to each month, like my #LMPBC books and #bookspin, but overall I tend to plan more week-to-week than monthly. I've really, really enjoyed @Cinfhen's #weeklyforecast / #bookreport concept - love setting aside books each weekend in their own special spot on the shelf in hopes that I will get to them!

I have a problem with sequels. I read the first book, love it, but the sequel and never get it read. I have made a promise to myself to read through some of my sequels. So my #bookspinning list is all the sequels I want to read that I already own. Yes my list is way longer than necessary but it‘s good to have a plan. 😁

If you‘re curious about the order, it‘s by Author.

But basically chose a list of 20 titles you want to read, and I draw a random number on February 2 - everyone tries to read that number book from their list!! Feel free to join! 4y

Johanna414 Ugh I do the exact same thing. I made a list last year of all the sequels I need to read and I‘ve been slowly working through it. 4y

Daisey I don‘t read a lot of sequels either. A book has to truly win me over and generally the sequel needs to be easily available. Reading just book one doesn‘t really bother me, but I also have a bad habit of reading 3 or 4 in a series and just never finishing the last couple. That annoys me more. 4y

LibrarianRyan @Daisey yeah, I do that too. that is why some of these books are numbers 4 and 5. or the last book of the series. 4y

LibrarianRyan @Linsy I read them when it was supposed to be a trilogy and I read them from the library. It was not originally disposed to expand. It‘s great it did, but I‘ve never gotten any further. 4y

BookNAround I have so many series I am somewhere in the middle of! In fact, what I‘m reading right now is the first in another series since I also have the second one on my tbr shelves. 4y
