pickA friend was raving about a particular episode of Brene Brown‘s podcast. I listened and learned so much that I ordered this book. It is written by the author that was being interviewed. Great advice! Relatable, concise, a game changer for me.

I remember loving Nerdy Birdy when it first came out. This time Nerdy has brought along their friend vulture. They have discovered Tweeter and all the things that seem awesome. They also learn that in real life friends are so much better than online one. This book wasn‘t bad, but it felt long, and overdone. I did really love the artwork though.

Why or why is bear so horrible? Or maybe bear isn‘t horrible, and the little girl is horrible? Only the reader will know, and I‘m not going to spoil it. This book left a big smile on my face, and it will do the same for many other readers as well. I see this circulating well at most public libraries.

pickI read this hoping to heal a disconnect in the way my mother and I communicate. While the author‘s advice is well grounded, I was hoping to learn a more straightforward, non-“therapy speak” way to talk to my mom about apologies b/c my mother hates “therapy speak”.
This would be good to buddy listen with a partner or family member who you have apology-related issues with or just for personal growth about how to craft an apology or ask for one. 4⭐️
