You‘ve got to love a guy who dedicates his book to his animal companions. He loves his fur babies.

This book gives a whole lot of flight history and information starting with hot air balloons up to aircraft. Truly informative.

This did not work. The cover is perfect for a Romantasy novel.

Reading the second book right after the first book I noticed that a lot had changed within the two years of book timeline between Windlass and Olympian Affair.

#RushAThonChristmasBingo - Didn't live up to the hype/Disappointing book

julesG Characters act very differently from how they acted in book 1, like friends suddenly hating each other - did I miss something?

There is more naked flesh and sexual content in this book than I expected. I'm not saying I expected a 'clean' book, but compared to the first book this came as a surprise.

The story dragged on for too long. It could have been trimmed down.

The novella was slightly better than the first book.

julesG The cover should have been a huge giveaway - name of author larger than title of book. 🙈🙈🙈 #petpeeve 5mo
TheSpineView Disappointing. Hope the next one is better 5mo

The first book in this series was released in September 2015. I think sometime between then and now there was some legal wrangling that kept any more books in the series from being published. But don‘t hold me to that because I could be remembering it wrong. But in September 2023 this novella was released and in November there will be a complete novel. Benedict is one of my favorite characters and he is the focus of this fast-paced story.

julesG The first two are about to be re-published (in the UK at least). 7mo
CatLass007 @julesG I know that The Aeronaut‘s Windlass is being released with new cover art. There are some beautiful covers out there but they‘re all starting to look the same, so now I‘m getting bored with them. Warriorborn is book 1.5 and was first published in September of this year. Book 2, The Olympian Affair, will receive its first publication in November of this year and I‘ve already reserved my copy with Audible. This is all in the US. 7mo
julesG I was lucky to snatch The Aeronaut's Windlass and The Olympian Affair on NetGalley UK. Thought Warriorborn was 2.5. 7mo

CatLass007 Audible says it‘s 1.5 and Goodreads says the same. 7mo
julesG It was me who got it wrong. Thanks for checking 7mo

Forced to make a random jump Everett and the crew of the Everness end up in a world where dinosaurs did not become extinct and who want to expand into other alternative worlds.

Very exciting. I thought it was a self-contained trilogy but several story threads, including the ending, are left hanging obviously expecting another in the series, which hasn't appeared 9 years later so probably isn't going to.

Charlotte Villiers recruits Everett's E4 alter to plant a tracker on the Everness, which has been hiding on E1, soon to learn just why E1 has been quarantined off.

A nice line in horror for this volume. Can't wait to see how it all turns out.

Everett Singh sees his father kidnapped before his eyes and now the kidnappers are after him believing his father has given him the secret to travelling between parallel universes. Can he find the secret and rescue his father?

Rollicking YA adventure. After all who wouldn't want to join a Polari-speaking airship crew?
