pickThis book hit me a little bit harder with the emotions. I enjoyed the book. I rated this book a 3 out of 5 stars.

pickUnbearably tense story about two brothers, Jonah, 16, and Simon, 14, who have left home for Arizona where they hope they will be reunited with their older brother, Matt, who has been fighting in the Vietnam War. Unfortunately, they get picked up by Mitch and Lilly and things start to go horribly wrong. I really liked the main characters and their predicament was nail biting.

The Lucky Ones by Liz Lawson was emotional, heartfelt story about a school shooting that takes place and how May and Zach both dealing with it in their own separate ways. This story is told in two alternate points of view. You have May who's twin brother died in the school shooting.
