My 8 year old and my first annual readathon day. Where we choose a rainy day, get cozy, make tea and read in a fort all day ❤️

I read Adelaide by Genevieve Wheeler and she read Runaway Max: Stranger Things

It's highly recommended to watch Stranger Things before reading this book.
I liked the insight into Max's life and see details that weren't shown in S2. I also liked seeing her personality shine through and also Billy's development, it made me feel sorry for him. The plot follows a few key events from S2 but mostly fills in gaps. The writing style was more tell than show and the ending and character introductions felt super rushed.

Snuggled up with my girl as I finish my book. #bestplaceintheworld I enjoyed the book. It was different than the first two in the series. It was a fun complement to the Netflix show and that made it fun. Also really easy reading. If you like the show you will like the show. #strangerthings #tvshowbooks #babysnuggles

Some quiet time with my book was a nice way to spend the afternoon. Even if it did lead to an impromptu nap. #strangerthings #readingandnapping #afternoonreading #afternoonnap

I hated this book. I couldn‘t get into it I felt like this one just didn‘t cut it. It has no action in it, and it had no feeling. It was an ok story of Max ,but not one I would read again. It was also really confusing to read. It jumped back and forth throughout the book. And just wasn‘t a good book in my opinion

Really enjoying Max's story and her pov. Billy is fairly terrifying, though.

I love the tv series and will read just about anything on ST! This book series gives more background stories of Max, Billy and Jim Hopper.

Finished this in a day! It was such a quick, fun read. I love Stranger Things so much! This was a great read that gave more insight into the character of Max, who was my favorite character during season 3. The author captured the mind of a young girl very well.

Liked this Stranger Things novel a whole lot better than the other I've read (Suspicious Minds)
