If you like smart, yet graphic horror I highly recommend.

bookcollecter Yes! He is very prolific....nearly 200 novels/novellas I believe. He has some other great horror series as well like the #incarnationsofimmortality series. 6y

klarusu I loved these as a youngster. Approached a reread as an adult and in consequence, purged them from my library. Issues with sexism, racism, bad writing. I wish I'd left them as a fond memory. 6y

SqueakyChu I never read any, but I remember searching for every book in this series to get for my daughter when she was a youngster. They didn‘t leave any lasting harm on her! 😃 6y

Reggie I don‘t know if you ever listen to This American Life, it‘s a podcast, but there‘s this episode about this boy who was having a tough time at home and decides to runaway to go live with Piers Anthony, and funny enough he finds him based on the clues Piers leaves on the sections about his life in the back of the books. The story was so touching. 20 years later both boy and Piers talk to each other. Such a moving episode. 6y
