I ❤️ the old black-and-white Masterpiece version of the tagged book (although this picture of the cast is too early in the series to include the adorable Susan Hampshire as Fleur). #tvadaption #tvadaptation #maylovesclassics #litsyclassicshost

The year was 2006. I was a college freshman trying to adjust to college life. My future best friend, who just happened to live in the dorm room next to mine, loves classic literature just as much as I do and we were obsessed with this version of Jane Eyre (I'll admit I was more obsessed). This was my introduction to Toby Stephens, he will always be my Rochester.

I like the contemporary version of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's detective stories adapted by BBC. Witty brain teaser with a talented cast, it‘s my favourite Sherlock adaptation. The tagged book is the 3rd episode of Series 1 where Sherlock and Moriarty were at a stand-off.

KarenUK Love this show too.. great pick 👍💕 6y
julesG I'm still wondering how I made it through those two years between series 1 and 2. 6y
raeintheworld I‘ve been rewatching Sherlock and liking it even more the second time round. I‘m catching so many details and foreshadowing. 6y
Zelma I adored this series! (Though the Christmas special was a little crazy.) 6y
