I‘ve been trying to read The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie, but I don‘t seem to love it like my colleagues who recommended it to me did. I can‘t get into it, and it‘s slow-going, to say the least. I‘ll finish it, eventually, but it‘s time for a little more light pleasure reading first.

blithebuoyant AHHH go read Tithe and Ironside! Valiant too but it's less important. Tithe and Ironside are about Roiben and Kaye, you saw Roiben in The Cruel Prince, Kaye is the Pixie changeling with the Chinese food. Basically, the Tithe series came out first, then The Darkest Part Of The Forest standalone is about Severin which you also met. It was SO COOL to see her connect all the characters in The Cruel Prince. 6y

blithebuoyant There are some subtle nods to Roiben in The Darkest Part Of The Forest too so when I read it I was like IS SHE GONNA DO WHAT I THINK SHES GONNA DO and she did 😂 excuse my enthusiasm I've been obsessed with her urban fantasy books since I was like 13 6y
