I have mixed feelings about this book. I had lots of fun with it at first with all of Kate's dates. In fact, her online dating experience highly reminded me of my experience. In fact, I almost felt like we dated the same men. What did not settle well with me was that Kate was still married. Yes, she was separated and her "husband" was an a*hole. However, she hid her status from her dates, especially when she found the special one.

I tried and I just could never get invested into the story. I kind of felt she thought others were responsible for her happiness. So I bailed and glad I did. At least I can mark this one of my TBR mountain.

marleed Haha! I read this in late 2007 in a critical juncture in my life. Parts of this book were a life raft. I haven‘t read it since mostly because I want to keep my memories of this book‘s value to me as they are. But so many readers just can‘t with this one. I really do wonder what I‘d think now in this life of mine I‘ve since crafted which is filled with almost nonexistent daily drama. 2mo
Christy2318 I read this around the time it came out and it was one of those right book right time situations for me. I‘d probably bail if I read now. 2mo

I'm actually better off than I thought. These are all the unread books on my Kindle!
I think I'm going to like this challenge because my physical TBR is massive and intimidating. This will help me focus in.

Also, how many iterations of the word "wife" can we have? I feel like I have a stack of just "wife" titled books. ?
