I stumbled across this book through Libby looking for an audio book to test out and thought this might be a cheesy version of J-Lo‘s movie ‘Enough‘ based off the synopsis. I WAS SO WRONG! This book was AMAZING! The readers won‘t be winning any voice over awards, but doesn‘t matter, this book was so good. I have never read a thriller before and I‘m hooked. The domestic violence part was hard to read, but it was very eye opening. #mustread #newfav

Lovesbooks87 It was an amazing book! Loved it too! ❤️❤️❤️ 6y

I honestly thought I'd bail on this one, but it blew my mind! Brilliantly written, wonderfully etched characters, so much to ponder upon...I wish I had read it sooner. I would have loved to participate in the buddy read but it took me almost two months to finish! 😬
I don't think Raskolnikov looks like that at all but little Rumi seems intrigued. 👶

Gezemice I love Dostoyevsky. I think he is the most brilliant psychologist. And yes, he was supposed to be a young man. And, so cute - although quite precocious 😊❤️ 6y

BiblioLitten @Gezemice I agree! Even the minor characters like Rodya's mother were superbly portrayed. I hope to pick up 6y

batsy Wasn't it just a brilliant book 💜 And adorable little Rumi is precocious, indeed! Starting young on the Russian classics 😁 (I'm so curious about that edition... Is it by an Indian publisher?) 6y
sudi I'm about halfway through this and i'm loving it 😊 6y
BiblioLitten @batsy it's by Rupa publications. Their classic library collection. I'm not too fond of it though. My son has been seeing Raskolnikov's face for two months everyday so he's pretty used to him and bites him when I'm not looking.😂 6y
batsy Thanks! And that's too cute about the biting 😂 6y
BiblioLitten @sudi I know! He introduces characters such as Razumihin, or Luzhin and there's never a dull moment. 6y
sudi @BiblioLitten agree, i put this off for many years and i'm glad i finally got to it. 6y

Now I‘m not only reading graphic novels! After flipping through a couple #saga I read this amazing masterpiece and let me tell you, this will be on my favourites of 2018 FOR SURE! This was written like nothing I‘ve ever read and it was so refreshing! Written completely in verse and with such a deep and quick storyline! Can‘t say enough good things.. #mustread #recommendation #tbr #april2018 #review #obsessed #newfav #fivestar

What a wonderful enthralling book. It was clever all the way through and left me guessing and assuming till the very end. This was the first novel I have read by Agatha Christie and I was totally satisfied by everything I have heard about her writings. I look forward to reading more from her!

"When the world gives you a hard time, pick up a book and join another."

One of my favorite quotes fr this beautifully rendered story about the exploration of love, family, forgiveness, & grief. It eloquently touches on family dynamics & the various ways grief can manifest itself in family members suffering from the same loss. A truly poignant & authentic family/character study with a touch of mystery. Highly recommended!?

DebReads4fun I really enjoyed this book! 7y

Wonder Woman is one of my favorite super heroes so when I heard Leigh Bardugo was writing a book for D.C. comics I was so excited. She did an amazing job telling the warbringer story. I loved every second of reading this book. It was full of action, adventure, and laughs. Diana was relatable and god like all at once. You could tell that Bardugo not only knew about Wonder Woman but was a huge fan and that truly came through in the book!

When you read stories by an author and just have to learn everything about them, so you buy part two of a three part biography on them and you just want to read it all #kafka #stiener #biogrpahy #franzkafka #newfav if only I had more time to read :(
